The boy told Elanor to stay in the room while he was in therapy as he did every other day, But as you would expect, this day was a little different.
Sure, Elanor played her board games, but she began to grow old of this. "It wouldn't hurt to go outside for a bit, would it?" She asked herself. Unsure about this, she sat there and pondered a bit, wondering if she should stay, or go and disobey her friends wishes.
"Just five minutes." she said to herself again. "Five minutes wouldn't hurt." So without another question or feeling of guilt, she stood up from her little game and headed towards the window, opening it.
She slowly stuck her foot out, hesitating at first, but she had done this before, and she could certainly do it again. So she stuck her other leg out and began descending downwards.
Finally, after a very nerve racking climb, she reached the ground and jumped down. It felt very calming, the outdoors. After all she hadn't been outside for what seemed to be months. Then again, isolation would do that to you.
And so she began walking around the building, not worrying or caring about anything. Not even her mother. But alas, all of that would change very, very soon.
