Karen looked shocked. 

She look at Yuri then look at me with disbelief. 

Is she mad?

"I... I can explain" I immediately said. I don't know why I need to explain, but I know I have to. 

I like Karen. But now she seem to hate me.

She shook her head. "I.. Umm you don't have to explain Devlin..." She said

I feel like I have cheated on her.

Yuri stood beside me and hold my left hand. I want to let go of her hand, but she look at me like -- Don't you dare move.

I look at Karen, but she can't look at me. She's like hugging her pink shoulder bag.  

Karen and I are not dating, but most of them think we are. 

She smiled at me and said "I'll be going. See you tomorrow" 

That smile...

It broke my heart.

I look at Yuri with anger. I'm really not mad... maybe I'm disappointed. But I don't know why I am disappointed. I'm trying to search for an answer within me, but I found none. 

I can't like her... She's too perfect and sweet. 

"Lets go. " I said to Yuri. I feel like my world fell apart.

Yuri let go of my hand and said "I told you not to talk to her. Why are you not following?!"

"You never said I should not speak to her." I heard my voice raising

"I told you!" She replied more angrily

"This is nuts!" I walked out.

"I am following you, Devlin! Don't you ever talk to her!!!" She keep shouting from a distance.

At home. 11:49PM

I suddenly feel bad for walking out. You knows, guys sometimes also lose their temper, and when we do we run away from it and get back when we have everything under control, especially our emotions. 

I open my phone to text her. Now I become confuse, I really don't know who's 'her' I'm referring now cause I suddenly remember Karen.

I don't know Yuri's number so I decided to text Karen.

"Sorry about earlier." And I hit send

I'm not hoping for a reply, I'm just holding my phone... Or maybe I am indeed waiting for a reply maybe... 10% or 30%.

Sigh.

I placed my phone beside my pillow.

My phone beep.

"It's okay :)" Karen replied

"You're still awake?" Another message came

"Can I ask you something?" another message came

My heart beats fast.

I don't know what to reply...

"Forget about it.." another message came

"Good night" she added

"See you tomorrow" another message came

"Okay. See you then." I replied

"Where is my good night?" She replied

A suddenly smile on face appear. What is this feeling...

I try to get back to my normal facial expression.

While typing I feel a suddenly earthquake.

I look outside to check the trees. It is really strong like magnitude 5. something.

To my surprise I saw Yuri standing beside a tree across the road.

She is looking at me with anger, I can feel it. 

I felt a suddenly chill...

And she walked away. 

And I forget all about Karen.
