The winter of 1902 as a violent one. Power at the orphanage and as well as everywhere around it, had went out quite a lot of times. Of course, the fact that they didn't have anything but a fire and some blankets to keep them warm was a problem as well.
But as always, Elanor wasn't afraid of the cold. So she put on her winter coat and snow boots, then begged her friend, Theodore, to come with.
"If you think I'm going to freeze my butt off out there, you'd be mistaken." He answered, then went back under his warm flannel bed sheets. Elanor just shrugged it off. "More snow for me I guess." She said to herself, then headed outside.
The Winter morning was beautiful. With snow covering the trees, and fresh smelling air. And so, she took out a pen and her little notebook out of her coat pocket, and began treading through the thick snow, drawing.
