I hear them, don't you? The sirens in the distance.

All types of sirens.

The police sirens.

The firetruck sirens.

Possibly even the ambulance sirens.

They are all there, and they're loud.

Really loud.

They fill the open air with their unnerving presence.

What could be happening? What has happened? A fire? An accident? A terrible crime?

All questions that will be unanswered.

There's really only one thing I can understand by witnessing the sound of this phenomenon....

Someone's not having a good day.
