I woke up, wrote these verses and fell back asleep.
In those moments, when the night begins to fade into dawn, I heard that little bird sing its lonely song.
I wished I could tell him "my dear, don't you see? Not every light is the sun, everybody else has realized it. If you keep singing at every glimmer you'll waste your voice."
I think these verses are about naivety, spontaneity, about the need to communicate and to find a place where someone would listen, despite the indifference of a reality that only seeks to deceive you.
Nevertheless, dawn will come and so will your time to shine.
