If you don't remember Martha in A Christmas Carol, she's the one who returns from work and is bundled away to try to trick Bob into thinking she isn't coming. She's unable to complete the rouse, however, and rushes out the moment Bob seems upset.
Long story short, she's a sweetie and she wuvs her little brother.

I MUST actually read the original story. Here I've probably seen seven or eight motion picture productions of A Christmas Carol and I've not read it....these kids these days; so illiterate...
