Kenji and Dian walk along the streets of New York as Kenji stretches his legs. Dian stares at her phone as the pair walk alongside a large wall with the ocean breeze hitting their face. Kenji stares out into the distance and smirks thinking of his time traveling the sea and his journey to this city.

“Okay, this one should be ours,” Dian says looking up from her phone.

The pair stands in front of a large warehouse as Kenji excitedly rushes to the door. “Come on, Repi!”

The doors of the warehouse break open and Repigigas stands looking down on Kenji and Dian with a smirk on its face. It lets out a loud bark with the pair smiling up at it as it moves back into the warehouse.

“Well, I’m sure we’ll have to pay for that, but I don’t really care right now,” Dian says happily. “I’m just happy that Repi seems so energetic right now.”

“It’s because we’re bonded!” Kenji yells out.

Kenji rushes ahead and leaps onto Repi’s side as he climbs up onto it’s back happily. “When I feel energetic he does too, and it works both ways.”

“Well, again you two have your unique Bond and such,” Dian says half listening. “Either way, the two of you differ greatly from most other Kaiju.”

Kenji stares down at her. “So how many Kaiju have you seen in person?” He asks happily.

“What?”

“I mean you traveled around with your Dad on other battles, right? So, you must’ve seen plenty of other Kaiju.”

Dian turns away. “Well after Dad adopted me, I did encounter several Kaiju, but never up close only in the stands.”

“Aw, that’s sad.”

“Well, it’s awfully rare to see an opponent Kaiju outside of battle. Maybe you’ll see them in an exhibition, but that’s about it nothing more.”

“That’s kind of sad, I’d love to see a ton of different Kaiju,” Kenji says lowering his head.

Repi moves upwards and barks loudly staring up at Kenji.

“Sorry Repi, you’re the greatest Kaiju ever I know that,” Kenji says happily as he turns his attention to Dian. “What about your Dad’s Kaiju?”

“Dad’s old Kaiju left after he got older, and then we had….”

“What?”

“Never mind. Anyway, we’re focusing on you and Repigigas now so we shouldn’t worry about other Kaiju.”

Kenji rolls his eyes. “Fine. We’ll only deal with me and Repi for now.”

“Either way, dealing with your connection isn’t very taxing so that makes my job a lot easier as a Minder, so I have to say your my ideal partner in that way,” Dian says trying to change the subject.

“Well, I can hear Repi’s voice so much clearer when you're bridging the connection,” Kenji says happily. “Of course, I can hear Repi’s voice no matter what happens.”

Dian smiles and walks away. “Well I’ll head back to the hotel, you can stay here and sleep if you want.”

“Thank you for bringing me this far,” Kenji says happily.

“Welcome, I should thank you though. With you and Dad gone for the night, I can have the hotel and all of its luxuries all to myself.” She says happily walking off. “Have a good night and stay warm, just don’t forget to go to sleep again.”

“Right I promise to go to sleep,” Kenji says happily.

Kenji sits in the warehouse leaning up against Repi happily as the night continues. He tries sleeping but is unable to simply staring up into the warehouse’s roof as Repi looks down at him. The pair stare at each other happily as they take in their various surroundings.

“To think we’d come this far. When we set out, I didn’t even have a plan I just ran up to the first Brawler I could find.” Kenji says happily. “But look at us now, we’re here on our way to becoming official Brawlers ourselves, this is great.”

Repi barks happily as Kenji stares off into the distance. “The two of us have Dian and Boss on our side there’s no way we could lose.”

Repi barks again and lower’s it’s head happily. “Yeah, we can’t get too confident, our opponents are just as determined as we are, so we should be ready for anything.”

Repi roars loudly with its cry shaking the surrounding warehouse. Kenji smirks widely as the two of them smiling down at each other.

“Yeah, we can’t let ourselves get too nervous, and we can’t let ourselves get overconfident.” Kenji smile looking up at Repi. “The two of us are gonna take the world, we’ll do this!”

Meanwhile, nearby Dian sits in a small but luxurious hotel room with a smile on her face as she leans back in a large chair. She grabs a remote and turns on the TV with images of Repigigas and Bearklosus battling against each other as the crowd cheers. She smiles as she watches and leans back in the chair as she sighs loudly.

“It’s been a lot of work, but at this rate, we’ll be able to become official after the end of this. Kenji’s an idiot, but he’s a useful idiot, and now we’ll be able to get some form of income again.” She lifts up out of the chair and walks towards the bed.

“Now there’s Oriana to worry about, hopefully, I can make some use of her to make things more efficient. When Mom joined the association, I was hoping she’d be our agent, but I guess having a newbie works well.” She says. “Now all we can do is wait and see what’ll happen, whatever Dad’s up to I hope he comes back soon.”

She shifts around in the bed unable to contain herself as she fumbles about trying to relax. She sighs unable to contain herself as she lifts up and pouts as she stares at the ceiling.

“Damn it, it’s to quiet!” She yells out annoyed as she reaches for a nearby phone. “I’ve gotten too used to having those idiots around, screw it I’m ordering some ice cream, I need something to relax. Probably three scoops of mint chocolate.”
