"Are... These your regrets?" I asked.
She nodded. Instinctively, I hugged her back comforting her. Gradually, she became colder and colder until her whole body turned into crystal snow-flakes. I tried to convey my emotions but couldn't. The only thing I could say was: "Don't worry I'm sure your brother will forgive you..."
She bit her lips. Then a summer-warm smile appeared; it was real. Her last words were,
"Thank you so much..."
And off she went to rest; becoming one with the beautiful, starry, night sky. It was the end.
Everything shattered and I was back in the authentic world. There standing in front of me were: Daman, Angelo and Aayan.
"Hey guys I'm back. I guess?" I laughed.
Angelo sighed, "Welcome back Yumeto." he smiled.
We finally returned to the main camp. A week flew by in an instant!
As we returned, everyone looked at us in shock and Melissa ran up to us.
"Where were you guys!?" she exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You've been gone for two weeks!"
"Wait...." I couldn't believe it, "Two weeks have passed!?"
"Yes!"
"Then why are you still here with some others?"
"Because those people, including me, decided to stay here and help the teachers and security look for you guys!"
"Oh I see..."
Suddenly, all the teachers stormed in, annoyed. Then they finally noticed me, Daman, Angelo and Aayan. Letting a breath of relief escape their mouths, they finall managed to relax. There were no words spoken because immediately as we looked at each-other we knew that it's fine. Even though that was the case, it still didn't mean we were of the hook.
