"I apologize for my sister, Laurel. The water makes her grumpy." Apollo said.
"No it doesn't," Artemis snapped. Apollo looked at her and said, "Anyways, Laurel, we were named after gods because of our personality, and what we looked like. The social heirarchy here is like a regular wolf pack’s. There’s the Alpha, a Beta, and an Omega, which recently got changed. Thank the stars I’m not in that position anymore." I was getting interested because of the rankings.
"Sooo... you were recently the Omega?" I asked. Apollo grunted.
"He was, a few years ago," Artemis supplied. "He was adorable!" She had turned into a human, a little taller than average height, with icy blue eyes and hair so blond it was nearly white. As she turned her head, silver highlights flashed in the fire light. She frowned and said, "What happened, though?"
"Ha, ha," Apollo grumbled. He had turned human too. A little taller than Artemis, he had the build of an athlete. He had golden hair and electric blue eyes. With a snap of his fingers he turned me back into a human. My red hair fell into my eyes, and I blew it away, so I could see more from this strange world I had been thrown into.
"Come on. We have a lot to talk about," Artemis said as she steered me into the den.
