He stood there staring at it. “Excuse me where are you looking?” the tiny voice said. In front of Haku was a fairy a small flying fairy who had a pink dress which was ripped from her hips to her knees, she had a small scar on her knee. “Ehh Ah emm Who are you?” “That's what I should be asking, creep.,” said the tiny voice.
There was an awkward 10-second pause until Haku said “Your hurt, are you ok?” The little fairy responded like a little sassy 5-year-old she said, “Do I look ok?”. Shocked by what came from such a small rude mouth all he could say was “Here let me help you.”. Haku ripped off a small piece of cloth from his clothes and began tying it to the little fairy’s knee.
“So, what’s your name?” “Shouldn't I ask you that?” “Ahh yes, I'm Haku.” Haku purposely left out the fact that he was a prince. “Ok since you told me your name, I guess I could tell you my name.”. After Haku was done tying the cloth around her knee she stood on top of a big rock and said, “I’m Lina from Orlands.” she said that with a big grin on her face as if she was waiting for praise and being worshipped, but none the less Haku had no idea who she was.
Lina cleared out her trough after she found out that Haku had no idea of who she was. “So, what are you doing in these woods, Lina?” “Well, I was just passing by...” Lina said as she looked away from the eye contact, they held for those 7 seconds. “So, you just happen to pass by with that injury?” “I may have fallen while I was strolling by” Haku saw that she was clearly lying and whatever it was he didn’t plan on pissing her off more than he already had.
“So, where did you plan on heading, Mr Haku?”. Maybe it was the cold breeze of the winter air or just the sunset shining on the back Lina’s head, but at that moment Haku smiled a little, just a little smile but that moment Haku would never forget. “Mr Haku? I asked where you were heading?” “Ah yes, honestly I don’t know.” “So, you were just aimlessly running around?” “What about you? Where are you heading?” “Ok, maybe I also was aimlessly flying around... Either way how about we emm” the little fairy pointed to the road. “I’d like that, Miss. Lina.” Maybe it was the smell of the cold winter air or the fact that she thought Haku asked her out, but Lina started blushing a little. “Are you cold?” “Hmm ah no! I was...never mind.” Lina said with a cute little smile nobody could oversee.
Back in Pinam, Azu, Filisia and Divis looked at their house being burned down by some soldiers.
“Mom, what is happening?” Divis asked hoping that Filisia would be calm and tell that it was going to be all right but Filisia none the less from a truthful mother said, “When I give you guys a sign you run east over, ok?”
“Mother, why are they burning our house down?” Azu asked hoping for a refreshing answer got in response “Now is not the time, ok?” “I’m going to talk to them you guys remember head east over when I give you guys a sign!” Caught up in the moment Filisia started crying which Azu and Divis had not seen ever since their dad left. Azu and Divis also started crying “Will we ever see you again, mom?” but all Filisia could say to her son’s blunt question was “I don’t know.”.
“I love you both, hide behind this tree when I give you guys the sign you run east over, here in this basket there is all you need, ok?” Being the big sister Azu led Divis to the tree but before she asked, “You knew that this was going to happen right?” Filisia nodded Azu and Divis hugged Filisia as they said bye. Because whatever happens Filisia prepared for them to run, and that Filisia knew exactly what happens the next 2 minutes.
Filisia went to the soldier, they didn’t seem happy when she showed up. They tied her up and all that Azu and Divis could do was hide behind the tree waiting for the sign. The general soldier put up his hand and pointed in every direction even where Azu and Divis were hiding, then when two soldiers were coming their way towards them, it happened so fast but that was it. The Sign! Azu and Divis ran, they ran as fast they could, not looking back a single time.
