It's amusing how I always find myself in this kind of situations. Some would say that it's karma but I think that it's just bad luck. Here I am standing between my former and current best friends. Well, the former didn't know that she's just that, the former.
"What are you saying? Adrien is my best friend!" Clare shouted as she pulled me towards her. I started counting down as March pulled me back.
10
"Are you crazy? I am the best friend now!" March hissed as her grip around my right arm tightened.

I looked around us and saw that there's already a crowd surrounding us. Some girls were giggling and cheering while taking sides. We're definitely making a scene.
8
Some guys were snickering at me. Some are wolf whistling but most of them are giving me glares. I grunted and looked at the sky.
7
What did I even do to deserve this? Just a week ago, I've been living peacefull in this town. Comfortably counting the days until I completely leave and settle in a place where no one can identify me.
6
Then he appeared. Then old feelings resurfaced. Then I remembered thibgs that I never wish to remember again.
5
I just want a quiet life. But he came, with his gorgeous green eyes and making me feel different things.
4
Then two girls, from my present and my unwanted past ambushed me. I suddenly realized that they're shouting at each other, arguing about unimportant things and I am caught in the middle. Surrounded by people who are making a scene which would likely create some problems for me. And I'm in the center of it. I never wished to go back to that my clueless and weak former self. I don't want to be like that anymore.
3
"Shut up! You don't know him at all!"
"Ha! Do you even think about why he moved here?! Maybe he wanted to get away from you!"
"No! You're wrong!"
"I'm not!"
"You are!"
"He left you because you're ugly!" I heard Clare gasped at my left. March smirked at her.
2
"You're ugly!" I rolled my eyes at her remark. Their argument is now childish and unnecessary.
1, That's it.
I suddenly pulled my arms from their grips which made them stumble forward. The crown became silent and waited for my reaction.
Instead of giving them the reaction they want, I just glared at the two frowning girls in front of me before walking away.
"And that's how you make a scene." I whispered to myself as I left the stunned crown in the middle of the front of the school.

"Hey guys, can we sit here?" The silence over our table broke as Tristan sat beside Clare creating a loud scraping of the chair. The three of us just looked at him until I saw someone behind him.
"Charlie." I muttered under my breath as our eyes met. I noticed his lips turn up to a grin making me smile back.
"Can I sit here?" He asked, pointing at the chair at my right. I nodded before looking down at my food.
"What's the problem? I can see the tension here as soon as I entered the cafeteria." Tristan said before taking a bite of his burger. Instead of answering, I picked a piece of lettuce before shoving it in my mouth. I'll leave the two girls to answer his question. I'm not in the mood to talk to them until they solved their problem with each other. It's already a miracle that they convinced me to sit with them but instead of saying anything, they just sat at either side, hence the awkward atmosphere.
"It's her fault!" Clare and March said at the same time while pointing at each other. I sighed at the two before looking at an amused Tristan. I raised an eyebrow at him but he just smirked at me. I'm still aware of Kane's presence beside me and I still don't know how to face him after yesterday. I sighed again as I find myself surrounded literally with problems.
"What? Why? Is it a guy?" Technically yes, I wanted to say at the interested guy in front of me.
"No!" March said. "Well..."
"Technically, yes" Clare glared at her before looking at me. I just stared at her before completely ignoring her. Now that I think about it, she's the one who suddenly showed up here, suddenly confronted me earlier saying were bestfriends in front of March, resulting in their fight. Resuliting in this situation.
"Oh? Are you fighting because of him?" Tristan said as he noticed her looking at me. I just shrugged at him. I accidentally turned towards Kane and noticed that he's clearly listening.
"Yes." The two of them huffed. I also huffed and crossed my arms. Tristan started laughing while Kane chuckled.
"What's funny?" I finally talked but giving him a glare. He continued laughing.
"You- haha- I didn't saw you as the guy that everyone wants."He said between his laugh. I frowned at him. Everyone wants? I huffed.
Barely.
"It's not like that!" March shouted. "Right?" She added before looking at Clare... That is blushing while looking at me with wide eyes. Shit. I forgot.
"You're wrong." I quickly argued but they already saw.
"Wait." March suddenly slammed her hands on the table. "Do you- Did the two of you-"
"No! I mean yes- but, I, I was-" Clare flustered. I sighed as I pursed my lips.
Great.
"She and I just-" I was interrupted by Clare.
"I liked Adrien! And he- I mean..." I gaped at her words. March gasped while Tristan is still laughing at us.
"What a disaster." I heard Kane say under his breath. I glared at him for his teasing but he just grinned back. I turn away from him.
"Did you two dated each other?" March whispered as she look between the two of us.
"So I was right?" Tristan added.
"No!" I quickly denied. I groaned. This was quickly turning into a different conversation than what I thought we would have earlier.
"No?" "No?" "No?"Clare whispered with a small frown while Tristan and March asked, confused.
"I mean. That was in the past. Besides that's not what I came here to talk for." I finally said. I hate confrontations. And I don't like talking about my past. I quickly gathered my things before walking out of there. Wow, I'm doing a lot of walking out in one day than I ever did in my entire life. Although, I think I can count what-
No. stop thinking about it.
I heard them call my name until I reached the doors. I'm sure I heard someone say "I got him" and a scraping of a chair but I ignored it as I slammed the doors.
Let's see if you can get him.
