"Wow, I wasn't sure that I'll find you here, but there you are." I gasped as I saw Kane peeking under the table.
"How- how did you-" I stuttered as he gave me an amused smile.
"Found you?" I nodded. "That means that I know you." He added but I glared at his words.
"Ok. Alright." He chuckled before crouching in front of me. "You were fast but I was faster."
"You actually followed me?" I gaped and he just grinned.
"So, is it true that you two dated?" He suddenly asked. I groaned then buried my face in my hands.
"That was one time. And it didn't even worked out. Besides, after that, I realized that I didn't even like like her." I defended myself.
"Well, what are they even fighting about?" He asked. It's funny how, earlier, when we're around other people we didn't really talked but now that there's only the two of us, talking became more natural.
"Just a petty girl's fight." I muttered. I don't think that it was petty for the two of them but it is for me.
"Hey." He nudged my shoulders but I still didn't look at him.
"What?"
"So, are you popular with girls just like Tristan said?" I was slackjawed at his question.
"Where the hell did that came from?" He just gave me a shrug of his shoulders.
"No!" I denied.
"No?" He asked.
"Yes!"
"So it's a yes or a no?" I groaned.
"What is wrong with you? Earlier, you didn't even talked to me despite what happened yesterday, then you followed me until here and suddenly were talking like were old friends."
I saw him smile before he quickly stand up. I crawled and followed him as he sat at a chair. He ran his fingers in his hair before taking a deep breath. He patted the chair beside him.
"I like you, ok?" He immediately confessed as soon as I sat down. I don't know if I should be thankful that I was sitting down and he won't see my knees turning into jello at his words. Or if I should be skeptical about his confession.
"I- you- I mean." Heat creeped up my neck as I felt myself blushing.
"No! I mean-" He groaned. "Sorry, that sounded wrong."
"Listen, I like you as a friend. I mean, I would like to be your friend. As you probably know, I don't have that many friends beside Tristan that I can be comfortable with. And just like you said, when we're alone, we can be just ourselves and I like that. I like that I can be comfortable with you." I gulped as he continues explaining.
"I know that you know about what happened when I was a child." He added with a whisper. I carefully nodded. Yes, I still remember what he told me.
"Yes, even though we only met once and we were children, I still remember what you told me that day." I softly said.
Because that day will always be a turning point in my life.
"I was hurt and confused. I don't even know why I'm suddenly telling you all this now but, maybe because I still remember you as the child I met back then, that I can be a little honest with you. And this might be weird to say but we shared something that no one else knows."
"If you put it like that, yeah, it sounds weird." I added to hide what I felt when he said those words. It's like we had a secret just between the two of us.
"Well, I'll be happy to be your friend." I added with a smile. He smiled back. "Even though, you'll only talk like this to me when we're alone. He frowned at me while I chuckled at his expression.
"Don't worry, as you can see, I'm also like that with Tristan."

"Hey, Adrien." Zach said as I entered our clubroom
"Hey. What are we going to talk about?" I asked after sitting beside him. He suddenly announced a meeting and the members are about to come.
"The newspaper club wanted us to create something for them. They want to feature it at our foundation day in the school newspaper. They want an article about the life of high school students and experiences in our school." He said.
"That's all?" I said. He nodded. I shrugged and brought out my book.
"What is it?" He asked with raised brows.
"Nothing. I just thought that it's more than that because you suddenly announced a meeting."
"There is more than that." I looked at him at his words.
"What? Why didn't you told me?"
"I'll announced it to everyone." I was about to further ask but someone opened the door.
"Hi!" Shaira greeted and sat in front of me.

After the meeting it was decided that I'll write the article. I don't even know why I easily agreed. Maybe because I want something to occupy my time or because I'm not the only one who will do it.
I'm now inside our clubroom with Tristan, Kane and Jacky. We were left here after the meeting to plan about what we're going to right about. Basically, Tristan keep on tossing ridiculous ideas while Jacky keep on saying that we need to feature couples. I groaned before slamming my hands at the table making them shut up.
"Wait! What's wrong with my ideas?!" Tristan wined. I'm really starting to get annoyed with this guy. Even though I'm glaring at him, he just kept on grinning.
"Sports? School romance? Animal lovers? Teachers? Mystery? The staff? The founder? History?!" I listed all his suggestions while he nodded every single time.
"We need something that not just some students will be interested but everyone in the school will be curious about." I told them.
"Then what about couples?" Jacky suggested with a grin. I frowned at her.
"Isn't it a little off topic? We're celebrating the foundation of our school." I said but she just shook her head.
"But everyone will be interested with it."
"Who? Will the faculty and staff be curious about a students love life?"
"Ugh!" She groaned. "Come on, just because you don't have a love life, doesn't mean that you have to be bitter about it."
I just stared at her while she smugly grinned at me. I crossed my arms before leaning backwards on my chair. This is why I don't like this topic. At this age, some girls and boys thinks that just because someone doesn't have what they call a love life, they're already bitter towards others that have it. I was about to defend myself when Kane suddenly talked.
"Then let's write about that." We all looked at him like he had a second head then Tristan started laughing.
"Yeah! Let's!" He nodded while sharing a smile with his friend like they share some inside joke. I sighed.
"Then what exactly do you plan to write? You're suggestion is really vague." I said to Jacky.
"Uhm..." She trailed off before looking at Kane for help but he just shrugged.
"We could ask some students that become a couple in this school. Like how did they formed a relationship in school or how did the activities conducted in school helped their relationship develop." Tristan suddenly said with a genuine smile.
"Alright, you win."
