"Finally!" I heard Tristan's voice as soon as the door opened. The entrance is dark and as I leaned to the side I can see silhouttes.
"Hurry up, guys! The movie is starting!" I counted from three to one when I heard her voice. I really want to leave but I can't exactly trust this guy to take care of my friend. March is already looking awestruck at Tristan as he gave her a wink.
"Quick! We don't want to miss it." He said as he ushered March towards the living room. He placed his hands on her back as she guide her through the dark. I swear, I'm not letting them out of my sight.
As the living room came into view, I saw Charlie with a snuggling A- girl at his side. Then there's Clare on the long couch. Tristan and March took a sit beside her. And now, I don't know where to sit. Well, they have a carpet so I'll just sit at the ground.
"Adrien, here" I saw Charlie scooting to the side of the love seat and patting the space beside him. Maybe, he's telling me to sit beside him. I narrowed my eyes at the spot before glancing at the girl beside him.
"No thanks, Kane." I said before sitting on the ground in front of Clare.
"Do you mind?" I asked and she just smiled before patting her lap. My mind were suddenly filled of us when we were still bestfriends. I smiled back before leaning at her knees. Her hands run through my hair as she watched the movie. I also lookes at the screen and out of the blue, I felt nostalgic. We used to stay like this when we watch movies with just the two of us.
"Is this ok?" She whispered in my ear as she also felt them glance at us. I especially feel eyes boring holes on my end coming from the love seat. I nodded without looking at her.
Even though I tried to stay away from Clare, she was still a friend. We've been friends for five years and I'd like to believe that she know certain things about me. Like what my silence really signifies and how they differ from each other. Just like that, I was shot by the realization that I missed my best friend.
"I missed you." In the middle of the movie, I whispered as I leaned back my head onto her lap. She seemed surprised at first but she noticed my serious expression. She looked down as her long hair create a curtain around us.
"I've been waiting for you to say that."
"Sorry, it's just that, the way I left was cruel and..." She shook her head slowly as I stopped speaking.
"I, actually... knew that I was just a distraction that day. Who do you think I am? I'm your best friend and I'll always be." She tried to reprimand me as far as whisphering can allow her to.
"Really?" She nodded. I felt tears in the back of my eyes at her words. I felt like a jerk for leaving without any explanation at her.
"I'm the worst friend ever." I pouted just like how I did when it's just the two of us. Without realizing it, she suddenly laughed out loud at my face. She threw her head back as she laughed. I can't help but grin at her face.
"Get a room, you two." Our heads immediately whipped towards the sulky voice. March was pouting as she looked between the two of us. Tristan is smirking and I didn't even bother to look at the love seat. I bet they're too preoccupied to notice us. I still feel eyes from that direction but I know that it's just the girl glaring at me.
"We-I mean, no! You're wrong! We're just-" Clare is quickly turning red as March and Tristan continue to teasing her. I decided to save her from her embarassment and stood up before grabbing her hands.
"Since you offered, why not?" I pulled her towards the kitched as I heard Tristan wolf whistle and March giggling.
"Adrien, wait!" Clare protested but I only let go of her hands when we're out of their sights.
"You didn't have to do that! Now, they'll tease us even more!" She stomped while glaring at me.
"Why don't you stop glaring at me so we can catch up?" I grinned as I jumped on the counter before patting the space beside me. Her glare quickly changed into a grin. And just like that I suddenly felt like I'm transported back at the past when everything was alright.

"And you remember that girl that always followed you around?" I nodded. "She's now with Jake!"
"No way!" I gasped. "They'll be miserable with each other!"
"Yes way!" She smirked and we laughed at the thought. This is what's been going on since an hour ago. She tells me something interesting then we laugh together like old times.
"Hey guys, why don't you join us in a while for a game. By the way, you completely missed the movie." March poked her head as she wiggle her brows suggestively at us. Clare blushed while I just grinned at her.
"It's not that great." I was rewarded by a scoff. Clare and I arrive at a fully lit living room. It looks like their room is designed just like our room.
They removed the table in the middle and formed a circle around the carpet. I sat beside Tristan as Clare took a sit beside me. Basically, we're arranged like this, Charlie, the girl, Tristan, me, Clare and March is between Charlie and Clare.
"What are we playing?" Clare asked.
"Two truths and a lie. Since we're still trying to get to know each other, it's the perfect game." I groaned inwards. I feel like this will be difficult.
"What about punishments? It won't be that fun if there's none." March added.
"How about the one who will have the lowest number of correct guess will treat us into lunch for a week." Groans erupted inside the room. We'll be broke!
"Who will go first?" Tristan asked.
"Me!" March raised her hand. We all looked at her as we wait for her next words.
"I love Adrien." She winked at me.
"I hate Clare." She glared at Clare. She's good at pretending but I can still see it. Although it looks like no one noticed as they all snicker.
"I like like Tristan." She winked at me before smiling at Tristan. I was surprised at my friends bluntness. Looks like Tristan is bringing the confidence out of her.
"You're lying about Tristan!" Clare immediately shouted as she glared back at March. To cover up her grin, March narrowed her eyes but I already noticed it.
"I agree with Clare!" Tristan grinned like he won.
"Sorry, Tristan. But she's lying about Clare." I snickered at him and he looked at me with shock. I noticed March fidgeting at Tristan silence.
"She's lying about Adrien." I raised my eyebrow at Al- the girl's answer. "You're not that lovable." she added and I just laughed.
"I agree with Adrien." Charlie finally said and we shared a grin. The rest of the group looked at March for the answer and Tristan is still not saying anything.
"Adrien and Kane is right." She whispered as she blushes.
"I told you so." I patted Tristan's back.
"Really?" He asked while trying to get in March's vision but she's looking at anywhere but him. I chuckled at the two before moving on.
"So whose next?" As soon as I asked, Clare raised her hands. I gestured for her to continue and she took a deep breath.
"I'm Adrien's best friend and will always be." She huffed at March. I chuckled at the two. If you asked me, I'll say that they get along too well.
"I'm brokenhearted." She proudly said which was weird. I know that she's telling the truth and she's just putting up a front and I'm really sorry about her.
"I banged my best friend!" I choked at her words. Everyone looked at us and I know what they're thinking. And what I said earlier didn't help.
"You said you'll never mention that to anyone!" I quickly pushed her as she laughs at my improvisation. I pretended to hide my embarrassment and looked anywhere but them.
"I guess, she's lying about her being heartbroken." Charlie said as I pumped my fist inside my head.
"Oh my god! I knew it! I agree with Kane!" I can feel her glare but I still didn't looked up.
"No. She's totally lying about the third." I gulped at the annoying girl's answer. "No one would even like to bang him."
"I agree with Allison. You won't fool me." I flinched at her name. I knew that Trsitan won't be fooled but I just shrugged.
"Oh well, you're right. Congratulations." I smirked at Tristan as I finally look up at their faces.
"Allison, Tristan, and Adrien got it right. Or should I say got the lie?" They all laughed at her.
"It's your turn, Adrien."
"I know."
"I'm adopted. I liked Charlie since I was a child. I ran away from home." I said quickly and I was rewarded by their confused expressions.
"It's obvious that the first one is a lie." Clare said at the same time Tristan spoke.
"Charlie?" He glanced at Kane but he just shrugged.
"But running away also sounds like a lie." March muttered.
"Who the hell is Charlie?" The girl shrieked. "Are you referring to Kane? You shouldn't call him that, he only allows his close friends to call him that."
"Why should I answer your question? Maybe you're just fetching for clues." I gave her a wink to further annoy her.
"But I'll still answer anyway. Yes, Kane is Charlie." At my answer, groans and a chuckle erupted. While I grinned at Tristan's gawking.
"It's all lies!" The girl whined. While March and Clare is deeply thinking by frowning, Charlie answered.
"You lied about running away from home." He smirked at me. Probably thinking that he got me.
"Why would you say that?" I smiled.
"Because although you're prone to running. You're strong enough to face your problems just like what you did ten years ago."
