(Trigger Warning: Suicide mention, I wrote this while I was going through some stuff)
Wishing on a fallen star
Ignoring present, looking far
Dreaming up what is not real
Changing what we wish to feel
Longing for what “Should be mine”
Saying that we’re “Perfectly fine”
Fighting darkness from within
Believing good will soon begin
We watch false stories unfold before our eyes
As our reality fades and dies
We spend our days wishing for change
Till our lives seem wrong and strange
We wish away imperfect lives
Each bad moment like piercing knives
We forget who we are,
Dreaming what we could be,
Hope grows far,
We’re blind to what we see
We lose our grip, begin to slip
Try in vain to end our pain
Darker Darker Darker
Life Grows
Harder Harder Harder
We lose to fears
Endless Tears
We cannot mend
We seek an end
We end our life
So full of strife
Without goodbye
All because we could not fly
