DOCUMENT: OPERATION XENYSIS (RATIONALE 4)
Onward they strode, restless as a stampede targeting a specific aid with zero hesitation. Their breaths panting alongside one another together clustered within the heat of the apprehension. A quad of Imperium guards following their supposed leader, stringing along in at a hastened pace.
“You seem certain, and that will be all the assurance I need” A woman’s voice spoke through the opposite end of the phone speaking with the headman.
“I don’t believe he’d be so reckless do such a thing, but that compassion is something like I’ve never seen before. Was Noah so fired up at his age?” Reiji spoke sternly to the woman across the line. He continued towards his goal tightly aligned with his cohorts behind him.
“A near identical reflection. It is unparalleled, and without proper treatment it can prove to be double edged. I am entrusting you to keep it under wraps until we as a whole can deal with it accordingly. However be mindful of his sentiment Reiji, the more it is left alone the more endangerment he will inflict, it is imperative it is left fed” the woman responded.
“Ah, I completely understand madame. It is more understandable the longer I stay here., almost as if I owe these people a dept that I could never repay. It is paining to see and unbearable at times, shall we plan to act against it?” Reiji asked.
“In due time, I too sympathize with the kind of my fiance , I truly do, but now is not the time. We will attempt to free them when our greater responsibilities have been taken care of. I cannot live with peace of mind knowing full well that those unable to protect themselves still suffer. Thus, our focus should be entirely centered on readying the operation and then once the preliminary stages are complete we can attend to those matters” the woman responded, her eastern accent running fluid in between each word.
“Understood, I delivered the Scathon as you asked. Half an hour hasn’t passed just yet, I may return just in time depending on how long this search keeps me occupied. If I don’t return, he should be on his way towards the entrance to Domus. You will great him as planned no?”
“I am on my way as we speak, transgress your focus towards finding Aliikai and act as if your life is on the line. I have yet to cloud the doubt in my mind that you will succeed completely, prove to me otherwise. Engross your being to the detriment of a generation's worth of mortality, I expect you to fulfill your vow even if you resort to sacrifice” the woman answered, in a long winded manner .
“Absolutely, this will prove that you can be dependent of I assure you. But I must ask lady Delphina, what of Kanen? Are you not concerned that he will follow through with his unfaltering motives?” Reiji asked.
Thick clattering of footsteps were heard pressing continuously on the other side of the phone. A woman’s black heels were seen, above a traditional kimono patterned out in a color scheme of red, black and white complemented the apparel. Adjacent to her single long thread, were shown black stockings revealing defined legs carved in the architecture of definite composure.
“It is not our place to interfere, but to stand guard his safety until he can fully protect himself on his own. Fate falls it where it may, he is far capable than what you perceive him to be even prime in adolescence. If it comes to extreme measures we will extract him when it is due, until then do not stray from our tactics” Madame Delphina answered.
Reiji looked back at the guards surrounding him, each standing firmly by his side. “Do not worry your ravishing self madame, your men have been carefully chosen as well as the disciples of Christ. Consider it done already” he said using his words to comfort her.
The guards in disguise nodded
“We shall see” Madame Delphina replied.
“Yes we shall” said Reiji.
“My Final request, is-” said Delphina
“I am well aware, Madame” Reiji added.
“Keep both Kanen and Aliikai distant from one another until training initiation, don’t worry I haven’t forgotten” said Reiji reminding her of his trustworthiness.
“Precisely, I am counting on you Konwaku” Delphina stated.
“You can count on me as many times as you can count stars. I won’t let you down” he responded.
Both sides, took their turns in the maze route going their opposite ways but eventually meeting up at destination they had all set their minds too. The line was cut off. Madame Delphina’s shaded figure strutted along her way, using the same holographic technology from before to end her call. A tall woman walked by her side an obvious familiarity stroke between the two as the walked in sync. This woman's hair flowing where she let it, knotted together roughly in braided strands thicker than the pavement she laid her feet upon.
“Reiji sure is takin his sweet ass time” this woman commented.
“It would not matter if he took an eternity Jo, what matters is that we accomplish what we have set out to do” Delphina replied
“Maybe not to you but your girl here’s got plans once we knock out them junkies messin with Xenysis, Mamma’s gotta start livin again” said the woman.
Delphina gave her a slight smirk “Someone is quite enthusiastic for our revolutionary plans, I hope you know you will be responsible with initiation instruction. I am looking forward to see how you will handle youth” she responded.
“Pssh, Imma hit em hard with some discipline whether they like it or not. The world’s cold and if they don’t toughen up, they gon get eaten up” said the woman, punching the empty palm of her hand then proceeding to take a crunch out of the cookie snack she had been holding
“You’re not gonna stop me either Dell, it’s for the best of em” she added, speaking muffled words with a mouth full
“Who said I was? I would not have it any other way” Delphina replied.
“Oh, and another thing. If they call me old, dusty, outta shape, saggy-
Delphina rolled her eyes sarcastically as a visual response to her friends usual rant, nonchalantly lending an ear to her comedically victimized self exaggeration.
“Mhm, yes” Delphina nodded her head, eyes closed.
“You’re going to lay down the consequences I’d assume?” she said.
“Nah, Imma just beat their asses” her friend answered.
“I’m warning you girl, sister don’t play” she said tagging along to her previous statement, then taking another bite.
“Ah yes, so I have heard before” Delphina said smiling.
It was a personal sophisticated play the friends had put on with one another for what seemed like as long as they remembered. Warmth was very apparent, and their familiarity invaded each other's company with every spoken word so much to the point where each other could easily pick up their confidant’s sentences to save breath. An unbreakable bond in symbiosis both exponentially growing with zero down time. Though their differences were clear, they were not big enough to get in between them. North and south pole were undeniable cousins. The pair went on towards their destination, nestling their being in each others company.
MEANWHILE ELSEWHERE
A siren blasted, with sounds sailing along the atmospheric currents erupting like a disturbed volcano. Scurrying along the heart of the panic was a youthful girl, one who at first protrudes like a sore thumb in an unfitting environment. Juggling the weight of her fretful resolve with an unconditional preparedness she lied to a troublesome waste. Her canvass broke apart at the scene as she ran, stubby legs straining to catch up. Her panting echoed a disheartening rhythm adding mixes of whimpering and wheezing. Her unique dye of golden streaks plated on her short black hair was a gratifying source to easily be spotted. Lagging behind shortly was her red traditional skirt she wore, grazed it was but still stayed intact enough not to be exposing her minor wounds. It was a burdening physique that reared its ugly head upon her every step she took, chubby on both arms and legs in an endearing way to some but others hideously corpulent. In their favor though, her face radiantly shines as what appeared to be the most contrasted essence in all of Scathatchen, it counteracted the incredibly bleak vitality that stood highly apparent in that country of Exodust. It was a foreign face, not only in ethnicity but also in a drowsy form of unawakened beauty. A cuddly comfortableness rested in the young girls facial features, from her beady eastern eyes to her marshmallow thick cheeks. It was a premature sweetness that a scourge could yet to even resist. What remained as the most fascinating observation however was the tint her almond shaped eyes filled, a lesser blue that was insinuating a rare occurrence for someone of her kind. Still these facts alone would not lift her internal burden so lightly, she ran swiftly hair flowing against the wind. Her traditional geta worsened in condition as she pumped her agile body beyond it’s limit, tapping the cold ground below her at an easily distinguishable tempo to head herself above the chase.
“You can only go but so far little girl!” a voice called out to her.
The foreign girl ran ignoring the voice but catching a vibe of anxiety as she sweat.
Her expression widely agitated, she leaned up against a wall hearing louder footsteps thump rapidly.
“Just show yourself and we’ll bring you home, everything is gonna be ok!” a guard yelled out
“You can trust us!” another followed up
The girl stopped at an end that looked to be a cut off from her progression. It was an oval shaped gate that lied at the end of the grim Scathatchen prisons hallway. Was it her destination? An ill epiphany perhaps? She would’ve thought.
Just before she could take a step forward shaking , nausea kicked in to her dismay. Visible veins glowed around her neck area as her stomach rumbled. Hazy glimpses flashed before her eyes, gasping as she clutched a handful of muscle flab stepping backwards. In typical ailing behavior she spewed forth falls of vomit only to then fall on her knees scraping them. She exhaled her breath afterwards to receive short recovery. Still nauseatingly unstable she limped towards the gate succumbing to her location being revealed. Her relief was short lived as fleeting second caught in the pastime of her worries.
This giving the guards just the right amount of time to catch up, their shadows creeping forth before their presence did.
“End of the road kid” one guard spoke closing in on the foreign girl as she gasped and nervously backed up against the gate.
“If you come quietly we won’t have to resort to force” he added.
“Come young one, you must have worried your mom sick leaving her to run off to such a dangerous place like this” the other guard said, taking any weaponry from his compartments and dropping them to the ground as a means to discard any hostility the girl may sense from them.
“Don’t be afraid, we just want to return you home safely” the other guard added in an attempt to persuade
“We know your mother, Eve wasn’t it? What would she think of you being here?” the other tagged on
“It’s all ok now” the guard said approaching the girl
“Don’t you understand? We are good and here to help” he added slowing his words to ensure that she could understand him, showing off hand signals to help convey his message.
The girl backed up until pressing it against the gate, she blinked as she stared at them nervously once they took their masks off
“See? We’re-” Just then a black chain of cold steel unleashed it’s disastrous might from behind, pulling the guard down excessively. He desperately tried gasping for hair but was held down by it’s pinching pressure overcoming him.
“What the hell!?” his fellow guard yelled out in response, surprised but had little reaction time to also be attacked by a second chain wrapping around his body, tearing his ligaments as they bled with it’s sharp ridges.
The unknown threat was seen shrouded in darkness, with its nightmarish appearance installing further fear into the young girl’s frightened mindset. As the guards bodies fell to the ground, it stood frozen in the spilled blood of it’s victims. It appeared humanly decayed , with skin and bones in the same family but color variation lost in grey, with eyes absent of all its inner components. Veins stuck out gruesomely with the beings mouthpiece gaping as ghoulish seunna spirits reached out hissing at the girl before them. Hair hanging long and present but faded, it’s body bare but partially gone with clothes still attached in some places. It acted as a possessed human being wickedly with it’s container brought forth to elude false life, controlled by a paranormal force. It’s skin bubbled in fast degradation. It’s right arm forming spear type weaponry formed into its skin and the other it’s used chain in the attack before.
The girl petrified stared back at the creature, and suddenly a strange feeling embraced her.
The being stood, as whispers and continuous hisses from before interrupted what would have been silence. It too returned the stare, but this time in a cold sense of despondent remorse.
“P-Please” the girl uttered soft words from her mouth, she trembled with each slow breath she took.
In an unexpected turn of events, it deformed it’s spite. Stepping back, limping in response to it’s crippling stability. Seunna spirits reverted it’s defense mechanism, as pores oozed it’s ill liquids. With a voice unfathomable it spoke, slurring it’s words as it began to start it’s way back to the unknown of which it spawned. The haunting sounds making out vague speech continued to fizzle moderately with the beat of it’s steps into the hallway. Small misty wisps of arising seunna floated above the now hollow bodies below them, uttering indecipherable speech as usual.
Surprised and puzzled by the happening, the girl kneeled onto the ground taking a moment to exhale her wearing breaths. She leaned against it with both hands pressed firm, a spurt of leftover regurgitation leaked when doing so. Teetering the totter of queasiness and determination until it ran it’s unruly course. She closed her eyes, hair falling with the weight of uncertainty she let slip in her delicate fingers like grains of abiotic sand mixed with the decomposure of her questionable nourishment.
PREVIOUSLY DROWNING IN REMORSE
Bloodshot eyes cracked open in the awakening of a savage beast. Untamed notions intruded his compulsive nature, those chains holding him down like spiked thorns. That night, something was escaping, crawling, agitating in ways that suppressed the pressure of a potency ignored. If peace weren’t drawn it had to muster itself into form he thought, the night was overdue for a change.
