*DAY 0*
It didn't take long for Azuka to fall asleep, though he admired the beautiful ocean as the moon shone on it. It was only for a short while, Ichina on the other hand seemed to be uneased to fall asleep. She admired the ocean as much as Azuka, but the uncomfortableness of the boat and clutter inside was too much for her. "How can he fall asleep so easily?" She reaches for her bag of clothes and uses it as a pillow. She struggles around, silently raging at how much different it is to her comfortable bed in the castle. "I should have just stayed in the castle."
*Day 1*
Azuka was the first to wake up. The sun and Azuka rose. Azuka stretched himself out while the sun laid warmth upon the world. Azuka inhaled, "This is a great time to train." Azuka begins stretching, rocking the boat slightly as he does. "Wait, can I even train on a boat. I don't want to burn it or anything. If I start exercising the boat might tip over..." Azuka stops stretching and starts thinking. "What if I practice using my flames to fly away. Wait-no that could destroy the boat. I can't do my regular meditation, that would destroy the boat before I start getting burned by it...What if I just keep the fire inside of me, so the boat doesn't get destroyed." Azuka nods his head.
"I truly am a genius." Azuka plops himself onto the floor of the boat, rocking it as he landed, crossing his legs as he does. He closes his eyes, breathing in deeply and exhaling. He focuses deep within himself almost bringing the fire out of him. However he is able to suppress it slightly with fire protruding a bit out of him. It only takes a few seconds before Azuka starts sweating from the heat. This is a lot harder than I imagined, I can't even focus on my holiness.
After a few minutes of attempting to contain his heat, Azuka begins to smell smoke. "Oh shit!" Azuka jumps up, patting away the heat coming off of him and the small fire that started under his buttocks. Ichina shuffles around, making Azuka almost fall from the boat rocking. "How is this boat even rocking! Isn't this from the Giant Kingdom!" Ichina grunts, slightly rising up from her slumber, rubbing her eyes. "Azuka? Are you cooking something?" Ichina's eyes explode out of her sockets as she stares at the small fire that Azuka was attempting to pat away. However since he is still heated from his meditation, the fire continues to grow.
"Azuka you idiot! You pyromaniac!" Ichina scurries to the side of the boat, using her hands as cups she scoops up water. She then brings the water over to the fire, pushing Azuka almost out of the boat. She pours the water on the fire, but the fire barely decreases. She goes toward the edge of the boat, scooping up water and pouring it on the fire repeatedly.
The fire is finally put out after a few more pours of water. Ichina is out of breath, half of her body was outside of the boat. "Azuka, you are such an idiot!" Azuka had cooled off to a degree enough for him to sit back down, "Why would you set the boat on fire! Are you trying to kill us?"
"I'm sorry, I was just trying to train, but I guess this was a bad time to do it," Azuka says holding his head down, while munching on some bread. "If you want to train, how about you just train your mana control. That would be less destructive." Azuka raises his head completely consuming the piece of bread in his mouth. "I was never taught anything about Mana Control." Ichina lifts the half of her body that was outside of the boat back inside. Her jaw drops to the floor, "How could you not? Do you at least know the basics?" Azuka shakes head, "How about someone showing you how mana works?" Azuka shakes his head. Ichina sighs, holding her head with her hand.
"My master never taught me anything, but how to steal and survive. I don't know why he did that, but-" Ichina holds up her hand, stopping Azuka from talking any further. "I will teach you, as long as you promise not to burn the boat again." Azuka nods his head, "I promise."
"One more thing, I want you to take me to see the sea people," Ichina says with her cheeks turning red. "Why see the sea people," Azuka asks. Ichina begins twiddling her fingers, "You see- I- uh, always wanted to speak to sea people." That is not a good enough reason, she is trying to waste my time. "If you really wanted to go see the sea people, why would you get me involved? Get me to escape with you and go to the place I want to go to," Azuka says with annoyed written in his fiery eyes.
"My father would never let me go to the sea people, because-because. My mother died in a battle against them..." Azuka becomes less annoyed and more remorseful. "I am sorry for your loss," Ichina shakes her head, "It's ok, I just want to talk to them and if I have someone with power such as yourself. I could be safe from any attacks from them, if they still hold bitter feelings from that time of war." Azuka nods, "Yeah, sure whatever, I'll help you go and talk to them."
Something seems fishy about what she just said, I can't trust her completely, Azuka thinks. "The reason I'm going with you to the Fire Island is because I have my debt to pay for you going with me to the sea people. It will be a win-win situation!" I have to get him to trust me or he might leave me or something when I least expect it, Ichina thinks. They both smile at each other for an awkwardly long amount of time.
Azuka struggles to hold his smile, just stop smiling you bitch. I barely know you, but I'm forced to go along with you, since you are the only translator I got. Plus you practically forced my bounty to double since last time.
Ichina struggles to hold her own smile, hopefully he won't be an idiot for the rest of this. Is he even capable of learning? All he can do is fight with that godly power. He might be an idiot, but if I can teach him some mana control. He could prove far more useful than now.
"So Azuka are you ready to get your training," Ichina says forcing a laugh at the end of it. Azuka returns a forced laugh back, "Of course, take it away Master Princess."
