Three weeks later and all his hopes were about to be fulfilled. Adrenaline raced through him as he thought of meeting Angela for the first time. Normally he would be anxious, but after getting to know each other online, he was actually excited about being able to have a conversation with her. They had discovered enough common interests that it wasn’t a chore for him to think of things to say. It all just came so naturally! Was this how people usually felt on dates?
He tightened his tie and ran a comb through his jet-black hair until it felt smooth. He wished he could tell if he looked good, but would have to leave that up to Angela. Thinking of her, he nearly exploded with anticipation as he picked up a rose and headed for the restaurant.
William’s good luck continued. Angela was everything he had imagined and more. She looked amazing in an elegant red dress, his favourite colour, and she smelt divine. She blushed a deep crimson when he handed her the rose, and he felt his stomach flutter at the sight.
They discussed everything from classic novels to travel plans, and the time flew by. She didn’t even tease him for saying he was too nervous to eat. Angela just accepted him as he was.
He took her for a stroll under the stars, and as her warm hand slipped into his icy one, he realised that he didn’t want the night to end. She was everything his secret heart had longed for.
“This has been the best night.” She whispered to him in the moonlight, sending his thoughts scattering.
What happened when both of you actually wanted a second date?
He struggled internally for a moment before blurting, “Shall we try again tomorrow night?”
Temptation was too close for him to wait any longer than one more day.
“I’ll do my best to eat next time,” he promised.
She giggled.
“I’d love to.”
Someone help, he’d never made it to a second date before!

The third date in a row arrived and William couldn’t believe it. He had even worked up the courage to invite her back to his place. Mrs Fletcher, as promised, had already helped him prepare a special meal that he felt sure Angela would appreciate. Maybe it was okay to start thinking about a future with someone, and he wanted to show her he could provide for her needs.
William had also decided he was going to be honest with her and show his true self, no holding back. She had made him feel things he had never felt before and, even though he knew it was all happening very fast, he wanted to risk it all for her.
Knock, knock, knock!
He jolted out of his thoughts, glanced around to make sure everything was perfect, and went to open the door. His hands shook as he turned the handle, her scent wafting through to entice him before he even saw her face. His couldn’t help the smile from stretching across his lips.
“Good evening, William.” She smiled, looking up at him through lowered lashes that did nothing to hide her rosy cheeks. Sudden warmth spread through him that he couldn’t explain. He just knew he needed them to spend eternity together.
“I’m so glad you decided to join me tonight Angela.” He stammered. Her proximity was filling him with an urgent need for them to be alone. “Won’t you com-“
“Whoa! Nice one Willy,” Danny from down the hall whistled as he openly devoured Angela with his eyes. William clenched his fists as he tried not to tear the other man’s throat out. Angela was more than a piece of meat!
“Keep your indecent thoughts to yourself please.” He managed through gritted teeth.
Danny laughed as he walked on.
“Whatever you say buddy! I’ll tell the neighbours to ignore the screams tonight, seeing as you’re such a thirsty boy.” He gave him a thumbs-up and disappeared around the corner, leaving William shaking. He didn’t look that desperate, did he?
“I’m sorry,” he gazed down at Angela and almost gasped as desire washed over him. Her blush had spread down and across her heaving breasts in her embarrassment, and he could see her heartbeat quicken in the throbbing vein in her delicate neck.
“Please come inside,” he swept her in and closed the door. Her hand rested on his chest as she thanked him.
At her touch, a primal lust welled up inside him as he realised they were finally alone. Her smell was intoxicating. He wanted her so badly he almost growled with need. How had he held himself back on the first date?
He pulled her close and kissed her for the first time, savouring the taste of her lips. The heat from her body wrapped around him as she twisted her hands into his hair. Thank goodness she wanted this too!
He spun her around abruptly and led her towards the bedroom door, hands guiding her hips from behind. He could barely contain himself. Everything about her ignited his deepest desires.
She giggled breathlessly.
“What about dinner?” She murmured as she reached for the door handle.
He leaned close, his breath raising goose bumps down her neck as he whispered in her ear.
“I promise, it will be the best thing you’ve ever tasted.” Then he sank his fangs into the pulse at her throat, as he sliced his own palm with his nail and pressed it to her lips. She whimpered in surprise before slumping back against him and he couldn’t help but grin as he greedily sucked at the most delicious blood he had ever tasted. Little did she know the best surprise was yet to come. Joy and excitement welled up in him as he imagined her enjoying his first gift to her in their new life together.
Scooping her up into his arms, he licked her wound clean and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
“I promised you the best dinner of your life, my love.” He nudged the bedroom door open with his foot, meeting the wild eyes of the woman bound and gagged on the bed. “And I guarantee you’ll never stop craving this one.”
He gently placed the woman of his dreams on the bed beside her first meal. Stroking the hair from her face, he wiped his blood from where it had dribbled from the corner of her mouth.
“When you wake up, you’ll know that I’m a man who can provide for all your needs, wherever we go.” He cocked his head at his beloved’s prey, “After all, feeding times are important, aren’t they Mrs Fletcher?”
