Ulo tottered into a vent pipe, between the strange metal door and the room behind it. Being small had its perks for exploration, and in this case, escape. He had to find someone to help him, he had to rescue Jolark. Trotting across the metal flooring of this strange room, Ulo was aware of several beings in the vicinity. They did not seem to be healthy either, maybe this was a hospital? Was that man up there a doctor perhaps? Sensing safety in one of the cells above the rest, Ulo padded softly into one where someone was chained to a strange diagonal wall. Scanning the room quietly, the tynko realised that whoever this was, they were asleep and naked. His sensor picked up a strange pattern that was not humun. Suddenly someone started screaming loudly from across the room and the sound startled Ulo so much he nearly fell over. What an awful sound, it seemed to reverberate through not only the strange room but his own core. Where was this coming from?
"It's the man in cell two."
The being in chains told him in a strangely soothing voice. Ulo scanned him again.

Male : Unknown
Ulo tried again but got the same result, the screaming getting louder and his cellmate breathing heavily.
"Don't worry, it won't last much longer."
Sure enough the howling of anguish diminished into a sorrowful yelp and then silence. Ulo was afraid to scan the opposite cell for what he would find out. Instead he moved around to face the person in chains and lit up his eyes so they were miniature torches.
"That's a neat trick," the being smiled and looked directly at Ulo, "you're a tynko, aren't you?"
"A tynko?"
Another voice, a female this time was heard not far away. The tynko turned his head and saw someone leaning on the bars of another cell. How many cages were there down here and why were there people in them?
"I haven't seen one since at my cousin's," her voice husky but warm to his receivers, "in Arbo."
Feyzer smiled at the name of the town he had spent many a summer with his friend who was probably long gone. Nodding and stretching his head to the side to remove an unwanted cramp in his neck, he looked over to the lit up woman. She was gorgeous, deep pink hair on her head at least what was left of it after Codul had clearly shaved some of it off. He found himself gazing upon her body, her beautiful curves and details. It had been too long since he had laid eyes on a woman, let alone a felun.
"Something I can help you with?"
Feyzer blinked in realisation and shook his head in a sheepish manner as he apologised for staring. Ulo listened to the two strange people whisper to each other and braved scanning the cell opposite.
****Scanning: Species. . . .
Male : Humun
A humun? It was unheard of humuns to make that noise, at least in Ulo's experience with them. Argyle was humun and Ulo had never heard him display such awful sounds. Already, Ulo found himself wishing he could contact his friendly, tattooed man in Arbo for assistance with his present situation but he knew there was no point in even wasting time thinking of it.
"Hey, why doesn't the little guy get the keys from the desk?"
Kauda's question made everyone, even the whimpering wreck in cell two, stop and realise this was an excellent idea. The only one who would have disagreed was Shade but it was fast asleep in the shadows of its cell. The good thing about the Shadow was that it always slept deeply for a day after feeding. They had plenty of time until it awoke to get out and be free.
"Little tynko?" The male above him was talking softly and Ulo looked up at him. "Be a sport and go to that desk over there. There should be some keys that you could-"
Everyone stopped moving and nearly breathing as they heard Codul approach on the stairs. Ulo panicked again, looked at Kauda again who made gestures for him to close his eyes, meaning for him to switch his lights out which he did. Tottering in a circle, Ulo thought for a second but was soon hiding behind the male in chains as the footsteps got louder. Disappearing into the darkness of her cell, Kauda hid from their captor and held the cane that rolled in earlier. Feyzer turned his head and watched Codul drag another body in to the dungeon and promptly lock them in cell one. Before he could even ask the maniac what time it was, the old man turned and left them alone. Everyone listened to his feet on the stairs, all the way up to the top and waited to hear the door shut behind him. When it did, Ulo scampered out of the cell he was in and across to the familiar smell in the opposite side of the room. Sliding easily between the bars, Ulo whimpered internally as he saw Jolark, unconscious and naked on the floor. What happened to his friend?
"Tynko?"
The felun was calling for him softly so not to alert anyone unwanted. He turned his head and lit up his eyes again. She was pointing to the desk with a hopeful smile. Ulo was on the fence, did he help these strangers or stay with Jolark?
