What kind of joke is Rhys playing at? He knows that I had a crush on him when I was younger but for him to play such a joke on me is just horrible. 

"Daniel?" I looked up at his eyes and I couldn't tell if he was playing a joke or if he was genuine. "Daniel? Are you ok?"

"Am I ok? Am I? I don't even know. What kind of joke are you playing at?"

"Jok- what joke?" Oh my goodness I accidently said my thoughts out loud. There was nothing I could do about this because I was trapped in a glass cubicle with Rhys and I had nowhere to run. I just have to face him and tell Rhys my true thoughts.

"T-this all of this is just a joke to you. Just because you knew that I had a crush on you when I was younger it just made you want to make fun of me."

"Daniel you've got it all wrong. If this was a joke why would I try to save you when you were in hospital? Why would I lay in the same bed as you? Why would I kiss you? I would never want to make fun of you and neither would I EVER make fun of someone who had a crush on me in the past. But Daniel this is the present and I don't care about your past I care about your present and future. And in my future I see you and me in house happily ever after."

"Rhys...it won't work. What would people think?"

"When did you ever care what people?"

"I-I..." I was honestly speechless because it was true. I never did care about what people thought.

"I thought so."

"..." How does Rhys still know me so well? I felt so uncomfortable in such a small and compact area. 

"Daniel...you know, I want you to know that I am genuine. I want you to know that without you none of this could happen, sitting in the sameglass cubicle as you on the Ferris wheel, having churros, going on rides. Everything about you made me and this possible. Please, don't even think about people, you don't need to think about the world just focus your attention right here in front of you. Daniel please I beg you." I felt my eyes start to water. Because what he just said stabbed me right in the heart.

"How can I say no to a face like yours Rhys?"

"Is...that a yes?" I took a deep breath and quietly said, "Yes." At that moment the Ferris wheel stopped its journey around and Rhys and I had just started our journey. We both got off in silence and walked out of the amusement park in silence. 

Authors POV:

Rhys grabbed Daniels wrist and shouted excitedly when they walked out of the gate, "I'm going to take you somewhere beautiful."

"R-Rhys wait! Stop! Where are you taking me?" But Rhys didn't stop he just kept on running, up a hill, up many steps and finally they arrived. 

Daniel was out of breath struggling to regain his breath, when Daniel finally did catch his breath and he looked up towards the sky and saw the most breath-taking view. There were stars glistening in the sky and the sky was a dark deep blue colour. 

"This...this is my place." Rhys said breaking the silence.

"It-it's beautiful..." Daniel said astonished.

"It is...isn't it." No one said anything for awhile after that. Daniel and Rhys stared up at the sky with glistening eyes breathing in the sight, what they didn't know was what the obstacles they will have to overcome together later. But they didn't have to care right this moment. This place was originally Rhys's place now its both Daniel and Rhys's place.

Daniel cleared his throat and said, "We should head back now its getting late."

"Daniel...wait before you go, I have to tell you something. I'm going to move out of your place. Even though I've already unpacked my stuff I don't believe it is wise for us to stay in the same house. I need to find away to live on my own, find the reason why my parents left me because I know there is more to why they left me.

"Rhys..." At this moment Daniel wanted to shout and scream and tell him everything, the truth about his parents, but if he did Rhys could end up dead.

"Please understand Daniel. We can still be together however I will just be in a different house. Your Father and yourself have it hard and I can't add to that."

"NO! Your not a bother. It's fine! We're fine my Father and I is more than happy to have-"

"Daniel! Please..."

"But...I don't want you to leave. We have so much room in my house and how can you pay rent and stuff? It's going to be hard and plus your only 16 who's going to employ you? And with school and everything!"

"I will find a way, I just can't rely on you and your Father, it makes me feel very guilty. Please..." Daniel bit his lip and finally gave in. 

"Fine...but you must tell me if you need help or anything like that, if you do not tell me I will force you to move out. Okay! Deal?"

"Deal! I knew you'd understand. Thank you."

"Your welcome." Daniel stared in Rhys's eyes and as they started to lean in Daniel's phone went off and they both jumped. "It-it's my Father."

"Hello, Father."

"Daniel where are you and Rhys right now?"

"Father me and Rhys is currently out at the minute. We uhmm went for a walk around the town."

"Alright are you both okay? Do you need anything? Have you had food yet? I won't be able to go home today, so you two need to find something."

"Father we'll go to a pizza shop or something. Don't worry."

"Oh, ok do you have money I can transfer some."

"No Father I'm ok!"

"Alright. I need to go now. Don't go back too late okay?"

"Yes Father, goodbye."

"Goodbye..." 

Daniel's Father hung up the phone and Daniel looked up at Rhys and saw that he was blushing like a tomato.

"L-let's go." Rhys said completely embarrassed tugging onto Daniels sleeve gesturing them to leave.

"Yeah but first-" Daniel tippy toed and gave Rhys a quick peck on the cheek. "Pay back for all the times you got me." Daniel winked and ran ahead. 

"Y-YOU!" Rhys said chasing after Daniel. Laughing and screaming they both ran down the hill not having a care in the world. Maybe this would be the last time they wold get to have fun like this. Before they know it they would be fighting against the world. Who could they trust and who can't they trust?
