Turns out, the world Kiran was transferred to was different from the history books that he knew.

According to Hong Wei, who gave Kiran countless weird looks from his lack knowledge, China used to be a single empire but was now divided into 7 kingdoms among his sons since the emperor died. Each son has taken a new surname to create their own dynasty. The entirety of China is still isolated from the rest of the world. The kingdoms also aren't in very good terms either. It was why Hong Wei was sent to kill off the prime minister of Lan kingdom. Kiran was surprised there hasn't been any conflict.

Once again, speaking too soon, Kiran and Hong Wei heard the horrid shriek of an women nearby.

"Someone!! Help-" her voice was cut off but Kiran and Hong Wei knew where to respond right away. Hong Wei pulled out his knife from who knows where, but Kiran choose to keep silent about it, followed behind Kiran.

At the scene, laid a young women with a fair face being pushed down by three big muscled men. A carriage was close by and inside was sitting an old man with colorful robes.
