Skylar's POV

I stood in the dorm hallway. Kathryn was gone. I had been searching all over for her, but I landed back where I started which was in the dorm hallway. "Damn, where did you go, Kathryn?" I thought completely pissed at myself. *BUZZ BUZZ* My phone began to ring and vibrate. I quickly retrieved my phone from my pocket. It was a text from Anthony. "H-Hey, is Kat there?" He asked. I quickly replied, "No. She's not here. In fact she's disappeared. Have you seen her?" "No, I haven't seen her. I just wanted to tell her something, but that's not important right now. Do you need help finding her? I can contact Mad too." He said. "That'd be great! I'm honestly worried right now." I replied. "Did something happen between you two?" He asked. "That's not relevant at the moment. Right now, I honestly just wanna make sure she's alright." I said, wanting to avoid talking about what happened between us. "All right. Well, I just contacted Mad. She's already looking. I'm actually walking down the street, keeping my eyes open for her." He said. "Oh alright. I'm gonna go, so I can really focus on finding Kat. Please text me immediately if one of you find her!" I quickly replied, slipping my phone back into my pocket. "W-Why did I say that to you? I should've known this would be the outcome, but I was a fool and never even took a moment to think about you. It should be me who's apologizing, not you." I thought as I ran from the dorms, into the street.

Anthony's POV

I was honestly baffled when Sky told me that Kat had vanished. The only thing that made me hold a grudge, was how she completely avoided answering if something had happened between the two of them. I made a quick turn on a street. *SMASH* There was a clatter from me falling to the ground. "S-Sorry. Are you alright?" I said, lifting my head to face who it was that I ran into. "K-Kathryn." I stuttered. Kathryn sat in front of me. When she heard me, she quickly jumped to her feet and bolted down the street. "WAIT!" I called out to her, trying to reach out to her, but she was gone. I pulled out and texted Sky about my encounter.

Kathryn's POV

I was running as fast as I could to try to get away from Anthony. He didn't seem be chasing me, but I wasn't going to take any chances. I felt like a complete fool from what I was running from. "I bet Sky is mad at me." I thought. There was hardly any light out. The only light that was being used to guide my way, was the moon and stars. I stopped at the beach and took that moment to admire the beauty of the moon reflecting on the water. Before I realized it, my feet were at the edge of the water. Slowly, I took a step into the water. As I stared at my feet, I felt a cool breeze blow my hair out of my face. I looked up at the sky, and felt as tears rolled down my face. "I'm sorry... Sky." I said quietly, with the water just below my chest. "Sorry for what?" A familiar voice said from behind me. I slowly turned around to see Sky bending over with her hands on her thighs, trying to catch her breath. "Why are you sorry?" She said with a pant. I slowly backed farther into the water. "W-Wait! Stop!" Sky called out, as she lifted her head. She reached her hand out towards me. As a stream of tears fell from my eyes, I took another step back.

Skylar's POV

Kathryn kept stepping farther back, into the water, so I began to walk into the water to approach her. "Please. Stay away from me." She said with tears streaming from her face. She slowly started to take another step back, but the ground must've dropped off there. I leapt forward as she fell back, into the water. "Idiot, you know you can't swim." I thought, as I dove into the water. I grasped her hand and pulled her to the shore. We both lay on the sand, completely drenched. I rolled over to face her. Kathryn slowly turned her head to me, but right when she made eye contact with me, she turned away.

Anthony's POV

Mad and I had been all over the place in search for Kat. We stopped and took a long careful glance around to see if Kat was anywhere. Then we saw it. Kathryn and Sky lying on the sand of the beach. Mad and I hurriedly walked towards them, but stopped just before we reached them. Sky was leaning over Kathryn from the side. I could hardly make out what she was saying, but I heard a faint statement.

Kathryn's POV

Sky was leaning over me. Her face almost inches away from mine. I felt as tears fell from her face, onto mine. "I-I'm s-sorry. This is all my fault, right?" She said through her tears. I placed my hand on her cheek and slowly sat up to grab her in a tight hug. "It's alright. This is not at all your fault but my own fault. I'm truly sorry... Sky. I caused you pain and for that, I will never forgive myself." I whispered in her ear. "I'm so sorry. I don't expect you to forgive me, and I'm not asking for you to accept my apology. I just want you to know that I feel so guilty of your pain."

Skylar's POV

"Wh-Who said I was in pain? I never said I was in pain. It was more that I was nervous and unsure what to do in that situation, but you haven't caused me any pain." I said quietly. Kathryn broke the hug and said, "Well, I did something horrible to you, and even if you bring yourself to forgive me, I will NEVER forgive myself for it." She stood up with her head down. I stood up and placed my hand on her head. "Don't beat yourself up about this. Please. " I said.

Madilyn's POV

Anthony and I stood in complete utter and silence. "What the hell... WHAT THE HELL JUST FUCKING HAPPENED!?" I thought. We couldn't hear what they were saying but what we saw had us frozen from confusion. Kathryn slowly turned to us, her eyes widening as she realized we had been standing there. A slight blush appeared on her face, and she covered her face. Sky taking notice of her actions, turned around. "H-How long have you two been standing there!?" She said with a nervous tone in her voice. "Umm...for a while..." Anthony said, still trying to take in what he saw. "Could you hear what we were talking about?" Kathryn said nervously, while lower her hands. "N-No, not really..." Anthony and I said in unison. "Oh...alright..." Kathryn said quietly. What will happen next? Will Sky and Kat tell Anthony and Mad the entire story? Will this affect the friendship between the four?
