Y/N POV:

I sighed looking out the window at the horses and the people preparing to go off somewhere "Ohh I'll get it" rafe said quickly coming back inside I turned to him but he looked straight through me even with a shiver "Why is it always so cold in here?" He complains and he grabbed a couple things they needed and went back out again so I sighed looking out the window again...

almost everyone was out doing different things today so I was just sat in the library with the only over person Rafe he was still at home today he's been sat in here reading the last few hours he kept looking up if ever I caused a floorboard to creak or anything "Sometimes I swear I'm not alone in this damn house" He sighed

"You're not" I giggle but nothing he can't hear me or see me I don't know why I bother

"I wonder if this place is like haunted or something" He shrugged to himself

"it is" I smirk getting up and throwing a couple books off the shelf to scare him he looked up but didn't think much of it so I sigh kicking a chair across the room

"Whoa- is someone back?" He yelled into the house

"Uhhuh, you are such an idiot" I complain slamming the door and taking his book throwing it across the room "why can't you just see me, once?" I beg "Please, rafe, see me" I beg

"I'm losing my mind" he sighed and he left the room...

I sighed in the darkness of the house wondering though halls and corridors looking at the empty bedrooms candles snuffed out and servants fast asleep so I kept wondering through the darkness up to a bedroom my feet following the steps I know so well of this haunted place pushing the door even if it creaked so I stepped in silently and slowly shutting the door behind me trying to keep it as quiet as I could blowing out the candle he had left burning beside his bed I think I stood for a creepy length of time just watching him sleep before he turned to lay so he faced inside of his double bed so I climbed into his bed laying beside him looking at his sweet face I smiled kissing his lips softly he kissed back slowly and when I pulled away he was smiling at me

"I miss you" he told me without even opening his eyes

"You do?" I ask

"Of course I do," He told me stroking my hair

"You can see me?" I ask him

"No," he told me "But I can feel when you're close to me, that's why I'm not looking when I look there is nothing there, I like remembering when you were here" he smiled kissing my head "You were so beautiful," He told me

"Yeah well, you're gonna grow old, get weak and tried, I get to stay like this forever" I smirk

"Hummm... Will you still love me when I'm weak and old?" He asked

"Of course I will" I giggle kissing him "You wont get sick of me being invisible forever?" I ask

"No, I like that you will stay beautiful forever, just how I remember you" he smiles

"get some rest" I tell him

"Okay, goodnight" He smiles cuddling me close and kissing me

"Goodnight rafe" I giggle

"I still love you" he told me

"I still love you too" I giggle
