A couple of days later, I received a letter from the royal palace. It was unexpected. Written inside the letter was:

Dear Amarika Val,

I am writing to you to inform you that you will be attending Herthia Heritage High on Monday. I would like you to come to my place tomorrow at nine in the morning and please do bring your precious family with you along with all your belongings.

Yours sincerely, Queen Leviathan.

"Whoa." Leo gasped, "Rika will be attending a super prestigious school! Right mum?"

"Yeah, he will!" my mum smiled.

"Congrats Rika!" dad rejoiced, "You'll finally be able to make some friends!"

For the first time in my life, I felt like slaughtering someone like an ice-cold murderer. I was raging and yet my expression stayed the same; eyes wide open and mouth slightly open.

"I...."

"You...?" my brother added.

"I don't want to go...." I finished.

"What?" my whole family bellowed.

"Why not Rika?"

"Because I don't want to leave you guys alone and also, we don't have the money and who will take care of the house chores!?" I exploded.

"We will." mum smiled.

"But...."

"Okay it's decided!" dad celebrated.

"Yay!" Leo danced around.

"I guess I have no choice..." I groaned

With that I had nothing to say and I couldn't argue with them. But even so that didn't mean that I wouldn't try to get out of it.

Later that day, I stayed in my room doing the entrance exam that came within the letter. The average score to passing and being accepted is over 90%. The test focused on many things such as: algebra, English, some history and lastly magic. It was easy. Although it was easy, it didn't stop me from checking my answers like a-million times! After checking it so many times I went downstairs to see what mum was making for dinner; she insisted on making dinner, which made me very disappointed. Dad was cleaning the house whilst Leo was doing errands. Usually that would be me doing all those stuffs, but they want to prove me that they'll be fine without me. Because of all that I was bored I had nothing to do so I just read a book.
