“Hey little boy. Wake up! Wake up! Why are you sleeping in this place? Hey little boy! Wake up.”

When I opened my eyes, I saw a young lady looking at me. Her face was very white like the girl’s earlier. But her hair was wavy unlike the little girl’s. And her eyes, though has the same sparkle as the little girl’s, had an additional property of being dreamy. She’s beautiful.

“Why are you calling me little boy?”

“Because you are. Did your parents abandoned you little boy? Oh, what a cruel thing to do! This mountain city is cold and rainy, especially nowadays.”

I gazed at my surroundings. I know this place. This is Baguio City. I remember this park. This young lady also looks familiar to me, though I cannot remember who’s her during that time. I also saw that what she was telling me was true. All of me was smaller than before.

“Hmm… are you hungry? I have an extra sandwich here.”

“How about you big sister? Are not you hungry?” I said "big sister" for I felt like I can enjoy being like a child this time. If to transfer from one time and space and age to another was my fate afterlife, then it is within me if I will gladly accept what I was given, or be miserable.

“I’m not. I ate some with my friends earlier. Here take this and eat it,” she took out from her bag a sandwich and gave it to me. While she was on the act of giving it to me, she hesitated a little. “In my country, little child, (for I am from another country) we receive with both hands in order to show gratitude to the giver.”

She smiled at me like a real big and caring sister, and then took my little hands and brought them together. And after that, she gave me the white sandwich.

….

“So I'm studying here little child… ah! I forgot! May I know your name little child? I may go to the police to tell them about you. They may be capable to help you more than I can do. By the way, my name is…”

“Yuna!”

“Oh! there’s my friends! Wait a little while little child. I will just talk to them. They may help you too.”

Yuna… yeah, so it was you again.

She then ran towards her friends, and left me.

“What are you doing there Yuna?”

“There’s a poor little child over there… oh! he’s gone… I wonder where he went? I said to him to stay there for a little while.”

You can’t see me again Yuna? I’m right over here.

“Oh Yuna! You’re always like that!” said one of her friends. “You always approach people you don’t even know! That may be dangerous.”

“Oh come one girls,” she replied. “He’s just a little child! And he’s alone too! In this busy city!”

“Okay, okay, but be careful next time. People cannot be all good.”

She then walked to where I was, oblivious to my presence. She picked up the wrapper of the white sandwich that she gave me, and smiled.

She whispered into the wind, as if praying: “I believe that all people are born from goodness and to be one with the good someday, especially in the end. I hope you are okay little boy. I hope I can see you again someday.”

And everything went black again.
