As I finished my packing I took a break for dinner. My final dinner in this cave. Unlike normal the food was cold instead of hot. Meh I really didn't feel like shifting just to heat up meal. I was so eager to leave.

Not yet. 

I took a bite of my chicken legs and rice and sighed. After all these years I'd finally get to see Elves and Fairies again. I wondered if I could trust any. I wondered if I'd find some relative. After dinner I regained my mind and continued packing. 

I picked up my long obsidian handled silver blade I called fang. "Definitely bringing this." Fang was a sword I made. I taught myself many things up in the mountains and up in my cave. Materials are very bountiful here. 

After tying fang onto my hip I grabbed a cloak I found. Some idiot of a fairy tried climbing the alps without inner fire.

All creatures of this world have inner elements. Its where they get their magic. That's why dragons can live in such cold places. Unlike other creatures dragons have inner fire. 

Fairies on the other hand have the inner element of water. So freezing up is very common.

Elves on the other hand are the inner element of earth. 

However, anyone can have any element those are just the basics. Its not uncommon for a lightning fairy or a Elf who can control water. I have the fire element. I know because unlike the rare dragons that could breathe ice I breathe fire.
