"Hey guys, put your masks on." Marcos called out. "Johanna is coming to deliver your outfits."
I heard Jack groan in the back at the mention of the fashion designer. He had told me what happened, and it was kind of hilarious.
"All done?" Our manager asked, receiving some humming in answer. "Okay, let's go to the scenario, she is waiting there."
Seth and I started running towards the stage, not minding the others. We arrived a minute or two before the rest of the band, but we got inside anyways.
In the stage, arranging some hanging dresses was a girl. She was wearing designer clothes, too colourful for my taste. The pink-haired unknown female turned around and I swear that I saw her eyes glow suspiciously happy.
"Oh god! You are Joker and Reaper, aren't you?" She smiled widely.
"What is it to you?" Seth answered, clearly hostile.
"O-Oh! I'm Johanna Anderson, I'm your fashion designer..." She said as her smile faded.
I preferred to stay silent in these situations, I didn't know the gal' and I wasn't in the mood to talk.
"Jo!" Marcos' voice appeared behind us.
"Marky!" She shouted, jumping off the stage to hug Marcos.
I looked over Jack, who was covered by his mask. However, I could tell that he was wary and uncomfortable.
"Okay boys, I don't have all day! Get in these outfits." Johanna pushed us all towards the stage, where the clothes were in white plastic bags. "No peeking others' clothes, just put them on and surprise your bandmates and manager!"
I picked up the bag that had my stage name on it and went backstage, hiding in one of the camerinos' changing stalls. My outfit had a purple cap with a bright and reflective 'C/P' on it. The whole clothing set was a white strapless crop top with black borders, peculiar elastic black skinny pants; the right side was long while the left one had ben cut as a short. I also had to wear a long sock in the cut side that was made of the same material as the pants, a pair of sneakers and a dark purple jacket with a Chinese dragon in the back that I fell in love with. But the most extravagant and eye-catching item, was a mouth mask with a light screen on it.
I put it all on and left the room, just to find our boss; Mister Tooru.
"You look radiant, Reaper." He smiled. "Let's go, we will make a video of the new outfits reveal, we will post it after the concert."
"Okay." I chuckled.
I followed my boss and ended up in one of the control rooms, where a TV-Drama-like confessional was set up. I sat on the chair and looked at the screen, just as the lights switched on and my brother appeared on stage.
His long as fuck hair was tied up in a low ponytail, he wasn't wearing his usual bandages, the new ones were leather-like and not simply black. His mask was also different, just like in my case, but it was completely different; a gas mouth mask with some lights on it. He was wearing a broken dark blue sleeveless shirt, meaning that it had been cut to show his chest via the neck's hole. However, leathery bandages covered the tattoo on the upper part of his chest, making it be useless to see his skin. He was wearing ripped black skinnies with a belt that had a skull-shaped figure at the joint and worn out black, marine blue and hunter green combat boots.
Suddenly, the stage lights were replaced by black lights, making Jack's outfit glow neon as paint stains appeared out of nowhere, tainting the male in a colourful yet creepy appearance. His face was under the mask's green light, making his eyes look abnormally green. It was really cool. His hair, usually dull light blue, now was a vibrant neon blue with streaks of different tonalities of the same color. He smirked showing his teeth, that glowed like a little light.
"Next on the stage is... Joker!" Johanna's excited voice announced.
Shortly after my brother left the stage, Joker came in. He was wearing a militar print jacket with a grey tank top, vintage black jeans and white sneakers. His hair was hanging loosely under a white beanie and upper face was covered by a masquerade similar to his, but being a half face one. He walked to the stage's edge and posed like an idiot just when the light switched again as they did with Umbra. Now, the militar print was full of Chinese dragons, while the crop top had a middle finger neon drawing that wasn't there before. His beanie had now written 'Children of Pain' in graffiti letters and his mask was full of paint stains. He did a silly turn and left the scenario, the lights returning to normal when he did.
"We will add makeup to the girls' outfits, just to see how it looks. Trust me, it will be WON-DER-FUL!" Johanna chirped. "Next up is Skull!"
Skull got out of the backstage, his clothes were quite different from the other two; he wore a long thin black jacket that reached his knees with the hoodie on, leather fingerless gloves, white jeans and black sneakers. His mouth was covered by a half mask of a skull with some LED lights on it. However, when the lights went out and the black light turned on, hoodie started shinning and converted, along with the gloves, into a skeleton figure tainted by paint. His sneakers turned red and the white pants didn't start glowing, they changed their color to neon purple.
Skull curtsied mockingly and turned around to leave, showing us his back, that had the band's logo (chapter miniature).
Slowly, everyone made their way to the stage, until it was the girls' turn. When I saw Roxy I was really surprised, she was beautiful. She was wearing a crop top with artificial purple feathers in the straps hanging from her upper arms, that served as sleeves, and an also leather short skirt that made her naturally curved body stand out. She wore skin-coloured bandages that were almost invisible, probably to cover up her scars without anyone from the public realising it. Her feet were inside a pair of black heel ankle boots and all her outfit was decorated by golden ornaments such as thin necklaces and bracelets, along with a light purple mask that covered her eyes.
"Oh god your outfit is so cool! It fits you~" She chirped and hugged me.
"And you? I haven't seen you in a dress since the day we met." I chuckled.
"You are both slaying, my dears!" Johanna appeared out of nowhere. "Let's make these boys fall from their seats, I have a plan..."
The neon light switched on, confusing the male members of the band. The routine was normal light, then black one, not the other way around.
The lights moved and illuminated the entire room, including the audience.
"Maybe I’m a psycho just like you said I was~" Roxane's voice appeared from behind them. "You got me right, but baby it’s not my fault"
She was sitting on one of the audience seats behind the boys, her legs on top of the seat in the row in front of her.
"Oh and I know and I know and I know that I been acting so strange
But you should know that you’re the one who made me this way"
"Ohhh~" Lucy appeared on top of the boys, scaring the hell out of them. She was hanging from a huge robe that hung from the ceiling.
"God! L--Reaper!" Skull growled.
"I HAVE AN IDEA FOR THE CONCERT!" Marcos jumped suddenly.
"What is it?" Roxane was now by their side.
"Reaper! You have a good balance, don't you?"
"Yeah?" She jumped from the robe, landing gracefully on the floor.
Marcos smirked from ear to ear, a sketchy yet amazing plan on his mind.
Song: Psycho - Lauren Aquilina
Inspiration of the looks:
I inspired the neon part of the outfits in Neon Akali, from LOL. If you haven't seen her, look at her design, its really cool~!
The 'normal light' styles are inspired in these people/characters...
- Reaper: League of Legends - K/DA Akali.
- Umbra: Andy Biersack.
- Joker: My friend. (Joker is based on him)
- Queen: League of Legends - K/DA Evelynn.
- Skull: Bohnes.
