When mum told me we were moving, I fainted. I'm prone to fainting. It happened at school when one of my friend cracked her head open. The amount of blood pouring from her head was too much, and I went down. It happens other times as well. The doctors said that it was because I was trying to suppress my magic in order to fit in at school. You see, I come from a family of witches, at a non-witch school. The doctors told my mum that the fainting would lessen if we moved into a witching community, where I didn't feel pressured to hide myself. That is how we ended up in the witchy town of Hexabon.

Our new house was cool. Pretty normal, for a witch town. All my old friends were completely oblivious to my witchy-ness. I told them I was moving because of my dad's new job. They fell for it. I don’t like lying to them.

The girl next door seemed nice. Her name is Circe. I hope we can be friends. I need a friend.
