Thoughts of Imagination

The Ghost Within

The Ghost Within

Dec 21, 2018

Susan and Thomas approached Marley's house. Kyle was supposed to be there too but volunteered himself to sleep on the couch.

"Okay Thomas.... were going to break in and rescue Daru and find out why Marley attacked us." Susan explained. Thomas nodded in agreement and looked at the door. Susan stuck out her hand and the door swung open.

"Okay... I don't know what to expect in there so... What are you doing?" Susan said. Thomas was hiding in a bush.

"I.... am kind of scared." Thomas stuttered. Susan sighed and lifted Thomas up and walked into the house. Thomas hesitantly followed.

The house was poorly lit and extremely old fashioned. as they were walking up a hall Susan felt a chill run up her spin. she turned around to see a shadow on the wall disappear.

"Ma....Marley?" Susan asked suddenly afraid. Silence. Thomas noticed something and nudged over to Susan.

"Uuuuuum Susan?" Thomas stuttered as he pointed to a fireplace. a fire had suddenly been lit. Slowly Thomas approached the fire place cautious and curious. As they neared the fire it went out.

"Well...that happened... Thomas muttered." Suddenly he felt a hand reach out and tap him. Thomas swiftly turned around Swiftly. Only to be met with nothing. Susan frowned.

"She's messing with us isn't she..." Susan groaned. Demonic laughter filled the house. Susan looked back at Thomas frightened. But then stopped. She marched upstairs ignoring the horrific laughter and stormed into Marley's room. Standing in front of a old fashioned bed with Daru tied to it was Marley. She stared back at Susan coldly. The laughter of the house stopped.

"Marley... stop this nonsense!" Susan yelled. Marley didn't move but remained hovering in front of the bed. Thomas approached behind Susan suddenly less afraid. Then Marley finally spoke up.

"Why didn't you use it?' Marley asked suddenly sounding sad. She stopped hovering and landed on her feet.

"Please Marley....use what." Tears were rolling down her cheeks now.

"You've been holding the one answer I've been looking for.... The chance to win back my life.... Why didn't you use the MUSIC BOX?" Marley screamed the last part. Susan stood back.

"Marley..... I don't have a music box.... Only Morte has one...." Susan said taken back a bit.

"I HATE MORTE..... HE NEVER SPEAKS TO ME AND HAS THE POWER TO UNDO MY DEATH!" Marley yelled. Susan nodded. Thomas looked surprised.

 "You agree? Thomas asked confused.

"Yes.... if Morte is hiding his power from a team mate, its unacceptable. We'll have a talk with him as soon as he gets back." Susan admitted. Marley was taken back by this.

"RE-REALLY?' Marley asked surprised. She stopped and ran over and hugged Susan.

"Whoa! .... um...didn't know ghosts could hug." Susan exclaimed. After a long embrace Marley snapped her fingers and Daru was set free. He woke up with a start.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Daru screamed terrified. He stared back to see the other three people staring back at him.

"Uh... what did I miss?" Thomas grinned.

"LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE PUNS!" Thomas yelled. "Wanna hear some?"

Thomas asked. Marley floated up to Thomas and gave him a dark glare. "TH-THATS C-OLD....." Thomas muttered as he fainted.

Our world is one in a million of different universes. And like all was watched over four deity's. The four protected and watched over all the universes to keep peace and balance. Until one day one of them turned on them and left chaos In It's wake. Soon a universal war took place. quickly the remaining deity's summoned great heroes from around the universe and assembled them as the Elementals. The war soon ended and the hero's resided in a new universe named "Thoughts Of Imagination."Waiting for whatever might threaten existence itself. This group of twelve heroes were lead by the next descendants of these deity's. Susan, the leader, tried her best via the guidance of Nympisis and Connection, the two survivors of the war of negativity. They would guide her to send the Elementals on missions. However, one day Susan became a mother of an adoptive child. The two guardians, cross with her actions of taking a normal human into their land, began to train her on how to properly lead. They swore to never get involved with the universal problems except for helping send people on missions, to teach Susan how to lead. This was troublesome for Susan, who was an anxious ball of stress with no very useful powers of her own. Now taking care of her new child, family, and twelve heroes, the balance of all dimensions lay on her stressed shoulders.

The first chapter of the tales of Thoughts of Imagination begins with a lazy day. Susan, with one of her first commands, sent the majority of the Elementals on a mission. A inter-dimensional terrorist, known as Thimble was dead set taking over every dimension. What Susan and the Elementals could never predict, was the unseen evil right under their noses.

(This series personally, I'd rate a soft rated T. The later episodes, much down the line, do get more mature, with themes of depression and some violence, but overall, I'd rate this as a dramedy, a mixture of drama and comedy, so viewers discretion beware I suppose.)
