Thoughts of Imagination

City in the Sky

City in the Sky

Jan 03, 2019

Lyndin Stepped through the portal into a bright sunny street. A golden essence filling every inch of it. He took in a deep breath. He was Home. But before he could relax Candy came flying out of the portal right behind him.

"WOW! it's so bright!" Candy yelled clutching onto Lyndin. He sighed.

"Candy, I don't want you causing trouble, this isn't our home." Nate (Nightmare) Suggested as he stepped through the portal. It vanished shortly after. Candy nodded and let go of her death grip on Lyndin.

"It's ironically not her I'm worried about." Lyndin stated. Candy and Nate looked at Him confused.

"What?" They both asked synchronised.

"My Friends May not be used to you." Lyndin answered pointing at Nate.

"You know.....after what your relative did...." Lyndin sighed thinking back. He clutched the Necklace around his neck. Candy looked at her brother.

"Didn't you invite your family over for that Christmas thing a little while ago?" Candy asked confused. Lyndin started to nervously chuckle.

"I may of made sure none of them saw you...." Lyndin chuckled. Nate sighed. "It'll be fine." Nate reassured.

So they walked up to The Center of the golden city, to the giant golden palace. They entered and walked to the throne room. Lyndin walked in first to see his sister Talking to some servants.

"Hello?" Lyndin asked. Kel stopped what she was doing and looked toward him.

"LYNDIN!!!" She yelled as she ran over to give him a hug.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" She yelled. Candy watched from the shadows with Nate.

"Who's the girl?" Candy asked with a hint of jealousy.

"Doesn't matter, as long as we wait until he explains who we are. Right Candy?" Nate explained. He was surprised to see Candy sprinting out of the shadows over to Lyndin.

"Oh no...." He muttered. Candy Sprinted to Lyndin and joined the two wither own hug. Kel looked up with a extremely puzzled face.

 "Uh........?" Kel muttered. Lyndin sighed.

"That's a friend of mine....Candy...." Lyndin explained, quite annoyed. Kel let go and nodded, a grin forming on her face.

"Oh I get it....a "Friend," I see." Kel laughed. Nate ran right up to them worried about Candy. Kel took a step back staring at Nate. Fear suddenly filling her eyes.

Lyndin realized this and broke out of Candy's grasp.

"Oh! don't worry he's not who you think he is." Lyndin shouted. Nate stared back at him.

"Yes I am....I'm Nightmare...." Nate stated. Lyndin glared back at him.

"But he would never ever hurt someone!" Lyndin bargained. "Uh no....My kind has  beaten up lots of people.....including both of you! multiple times!" Nate argued back. Candy ran up to Lyndin and hugged him.

"I wasn't done yet!" Candy shouted. Lyndin sighed and looked at her horrified sister.

"It's complicated, they had nowhere else to go......" Lyndin sighed. Kel stared back at them hard.

"Well you've gone crazy.....what's new?" Kel sighed starting to move back into her joking demeanor. "Man....your such a good sister for understanding." Lyndin thanked Candy's head perked up.

"Sister..... oh......." She realized she looked back at Lyndin.

"You know the only reason I hugged you was so I would feel included." Candy reassured. Nate burst out laughing. Lyndin just shook his head. "well This is awkward." Kel laughed. Lyndin gave a nod.

Hey, loving your story, I can't wait to read more! I've subscribed and liked each chapter! I'm also a new author on Tapas! I was wondering if you could return the favor and subscribe to my story, Children of the Heir. It would mean the world to me! We could mutually support each other here!

Our world is one in a million of different universes. And like all was watched over four deity's. The four protected and watched over all the universes to keep peace and balance. Until one day one of them turned on them and left chaos In It's wake. Soon a universal war took place. quickly the remaining deity's summoned great heroes from around the universe and assembled them as the Elementals. The war soon ended and the hero's resided in a new universe named "Thoughts Of Imagination."Waiting for whatever might threaten existence itself. This group of twelve heroes were lead by the next descendants of these deity's. Susan, the leader, tried her best via the guidance of Nympisis and Connection, the two survivors of the war of negativity. They would guide her to send the Elementals on missions. However, one day Susan became a mother of an adoptive child. The two guardians, cross with her actions of taking a normal human into their land, began to train her on how to properly lead. They swore to never get involved with the universal problems except for helping send people on missions, to teach Susan how to lead. This was troublesome for Susan, who was an anxious ball of stress with no very useful powers of her own. Now taking care of her new child, family, and twelve heroes, the balance of all dimensions lay on her stressed shoulders.

The first chapter of the tales of Thoughts of Imagination begins with a lazy day. Susan, with one of her first commands, sent the majority of the Elementals on a mission. A inter-dimensional terrorist, known as Thimble was dead set taking over every dimension. What Susan and the Elementals could never predict, was the unseen evil right under their noses.

(This series personally, I'd rate a soft rated T. The later episodes, much down the line, do get more mature, with themes of depression and some violence, but overall, I'd rate this as a dramedy, a mixture of drama and comedy, so viewers discretion beware I suppose.)
