Once Thanytoz made his decree on what to do about Shintsuki, she would be taken through the Allsgrim Cauldron to the Red Moon, where she would be released from the grip of Grimnyzmal and allowed to hover within the Shin Akatsukiyomi's depths. Here, she'd be able to immediately enter and exit through her Fairy Fountain in the Enigmas and out of the Cauldron within Allsgrim Manor at any given time.
As Grimnyzmal released her and passed over her body, having collected her data and absorbed ALL of her darkness into its being, he would begin to shift to match her own in order to show her what it looked like. It would become the Great Fae's Darkness;
Head Witch Meiun.
"And after all that shit you were talking about 'saving your people,' you forgot about all of their Dark Sides, somehow, didn't you?"
Meiun didn't look pleased with Shintsuki. Not at all.
"Taste a little bit of the Light and leave everyone else hanging, huh, Tsukihime?"
When Shintsuki came to, she was out of the darkness and sitting atop a beautiful throne upon the Red Moon, still rather dazed and confused. From atop the Red Moon, she was able to see all of the Dark Lands cast into the shadows, where the Darkness of each Fae that they hid under their beautiful and glamorous exterior existed in secret. Witches, Wizards, Vampires, Ghosts and all such other Supernatural creatures that many seemed to fear due to misunderstanding, which mirrored their Lighter versions of Fairies, Magicians, Genies and the like that many favored over their Darker Halves. She saw that her people were still oppressed, even now, due to being forced into the shadows.
"... Huh...?" She couldn't quite understand how nor why she'd been brought here, nor how all of this was her doing simply because she was dealing with her own problems. She thought of Thanytoz and wondered why he looked so disgusted with her when he turned away from her... and it made her hurt inside. She lowered her head and looked at the land being sucked dry of its life by those who existed in it consistently pulling from it and not giving back. Succubi. Vampires. Leeches. They were all selfishly attempting to take the Life Energy of everything they touches, thus lessening their food supply. From atop the Red Moon, she could see them fighting each other, destroying themselves and others. The Lycans. The Dhampir. All of them were in a state of confusion and discord; a state of depression, turmoil and death all around.
"I don't understand..." she muttered, trying to figure out what happened, "... I thought that if we freed them from their prison, they'd all be fine and live happily... I didn't think that..." she looked up and watched as they killed or were killed and destroyed the land haphazardly, as though wild animals and deranged psychopaths, "... They might have been locked up for a reason..."
Meiun huffed and sighed heavily, a little upset with how dense this girl was. "Man, is this what Thanytoz feels like when he went through this with his boy...?" She tapped her foot whilst hovering midair slightly comically, yet an expression of utter sternness and seriousness was on her exceedingly stale and pale face. "They need a leader, you know. Without the King and Queen of Dreams to rule over them and give them direction, don't you think they're gonna use their powers selfishly and consume their resources and drain their power supply until they're cut off trying to fend for themselves and not at all thinking of nor looking at the big picture?" She said this like it was something that should have immediately popped into Tsuki's head from the BEGINNING. Just as their QUEEN.
"Look, they don't know any better. That's why we were trapped; so we could learn. But now, see, we're out and we gotta learn the hard way. So, since you're the one married to the guy who's able to help us, and he's got this whole Faerie King image to help you out..." she rolled her eyes, as if this were just supposed to be the simplest answer in the world, "... Don't you think the two of you need to be on good terms so you can govern?" She paused, then gave her the stalest 'You Done Goofed' face she could muster.
"If you can't even figure out if you trust him yet, especially after everything you've been through up until this point here, and in eternal matrimony, AND after his blind love of you when you had some info that the didn't, don't you think that it would proooobably be wise to think that he can be trusted at least to the degree of keeping his word to you and his want to save this world, too?"
And she'd hover there.
Glaring at Shintsuki.
Like she was a goof ass.
"But...!!" she tried to interrupt, finding a flaw in her own train of thought before she could even get it out. She tried to think of another way to justify herself immediately and her actions. "He...!!" she was coming up blank, since it seemed pretty seamless in terms of logic. It was starting to frustrate her to think that he was actually doing things correctly and she was the one who was wrong. But she figured she had something that would pin this on him, for sure.
"... He just snatched me up and didn't tell me anything and scared me shitless and made me think he was evil and doing all sorts of terrible things like trying to kill me and... And...!!" she continued to think up whatever she could to attempt to justify her emotions and actions. She felt like her being terrified by him was enough for her to overreact and to distrust him for as long and as much as she saw fit. To her, he just looked like a backstabbing liar; saying that he loved her and then doing things like this. Hiding shit like this from her. Not telling her about herself and what she was doing. "I didn't know anything, so this is his fault!!"
"But what?" Meiun would interject in Tsuki's silence, "But he saved you and your family from your evil curse that no one else in existence can break?" She would wait for Tsuki to open her mouth again, seeing if she was gonna even ATTEMPT to say something else foolish. "He what? Loved you even in spite of your horrible destructive tendencies and put you on a pedestal next to him even though you keep fucking up everything and hurting him with your haphazard blind destruction you seem to have no control over?" Meiun rolled her eyes again and continued to hover right before Tsuki and give her the 'Mangekyou Goof Ass' Dojutsu that she just made up on the spot in order to prove a point to her ignorant lighter side as she tried to pin the tail on a different donkey.
"Ohhh, don't pull a Shinji-kun, Ass. We've had enough of those." Her lids lowered and her lips pouted frumpily, "... You hate that the most, anyway. So now you're being something you hate. Stupid." The typical 'I did what I did because someone else made me do it and I clearly have no control over myself' argument. She was sure that Thanytoz had to deal with the same dumb shit with the boy, which probably also contributed to pissing them both off, as well. "Fortunately for you, he's out of that nonsense. Come on. Look around. How do you think I even got here? How YOU even got where you are? Don't think that it was because you two were just working together and helping each other out here and there, then came back to be all lovey dovey for a little bit." She couldn't believe how stupid these kids were. And of course, the fate of an entire existence rested upon them. Here we go...
"Mou... Think a little bit, will ya?" Meiun pointed with absolute authority over to the dying land cast in shadows and said decisively, "Dying. Entire Species of Being." She narrowed her eyes. "YOUR Species of Beings." Just that alone should have told her something about a lot of things, especially about herself and what her blind ignorance was doing to the people that it affected beyond just herself.
"*sigh* You claim to care for them and have love and all that, but you're acting more conceited than ever..." Almost made her feel ashamed to be attached to her, in all honestly. If she didn't already know that the things that she knew as Meiun were being kept from Shintsuki and needed to be given to her directly and informatively so she could see and understand rationally and logically, she might have washed her hands of this one, too. "... Why not, instead of absorbing all the light and letting it go to your thick head, shining some of it down on the people who look up to you, eh, Moon Goddess?" It was such a simple solution, she could barely bear it. "... Ante baka...?" No wonder her people were acting so out of line. They were just like her and probably following her influence and rule. Selfishly feeding and trying to horde and trick and steal and corrupt for their own benefit. Disgusting.
She opened her mouth to say something again, but was found to be shut up by Meiun and her cold words. Was she really like this to people? And now, turning that upon herself... Was this really who she was as a person? She couldn't deny any of what she was saying nor say anything against it. It was all true and it made Tsuki feel just awful when she was revealed to it. She lowered her head, the guilt finally setting in and the blame placed properly where it was supposed to be, resting responsibly on her shoulders. The credit for what she had done was brought back to her, since it didn't belong to anyone else and couldn't nor wouldn't be fixed by anyone else because it didn't belong to them. As she sat there and reflected, watching her world fall apart and be led down the path of destruction by her own example, thoughts, feelings and the like, all she could find herself saying was, "... Well, you didn't have to be so mean about it..." But inside of her, now that she was taking responsibility for what she had done, she could also rise above it. Now that she was taking her destiny into her own hands and her eyes were opened up to what she had to do to correct it that no one else could do, she was already starting to think of a way to help them. She was going to need to make a serious change.
If her face weren't already at the stalest it could be, it would become that much staler just for Shintsuki, "... Uh, yeah, apparently I did., or else you wouldn't have gotten the fucking message. Cuz clearly everything and everyone else couldn't get it to you." She was just like that dumb boy... Of course these two simpletons left in the dark wouldn't know anything about what was going on. "Ugh. You two are so hopeless..." Meiun furrowed her brow and pinched the bridge of her nose. "You know, you're not so different, the two of you. If you'd take time to stop thinking of yourself, you'd be able to see that." She shook her head one more time before sighing and crossing her arms.
"You know what? Just let me and Thanytoz handle everything on the Dark Side from now on, m'kay? At least, in terms of organizing the 'Dream.' You and Shinrona just don't even worry your pretty little ignorant heads about anything, K?" Suddenly, Meiun would slip into Shintsuki's soul and combine with her, randomly and completely out of nowhere, intruding upon herself and filling her with all the knowledge that she needed about what was necessary. This was how her Living Shadow, Meiun, functioned. The same as all of them. "All Tensei need one of us to make sure things like this go correctly." At their reunion, Shintsuki's True Form could be unlocked in the 5th, the same as Shinrona's when Thanytoz combined with him.
The longer Shintsuki thought about Meiun's words and really reflected on them, the more empowered she felt to take her own responsibilities in her hand and not try to shirk them off on others in a childish manner any longer. That wasn't getting these people any less killed nor her land that she claimed to love any less desolate by holding on within herself about who was right or wrong and for what reasons. Compared to the dire situation at hand, all of that was petty foolishness that they could all work out when things weren't so critical. When she finally stood to her feet, Meiun was gone, but Shintsuki hadn't been paying attention to just where she'd went. It didn't matter, though. Her decision was made.
"... You're right, Meiun..." she muttered lowly as she undid her hair, "It's time for me to start getting shit done the Tensei way." She stood up and pointed out toward the land where she saw the pitch black voids of empty space waiting to be filled with the Data from the Dream,
"... Ultra Badass."
Calling for the binding Tensei Seal, she would begin just as Thanytoz had instructed her previously on bringing the Witch Province into position and assuming the title of Head Witch. That seal meant that she adopted that Way and that Name inside of her, too... It was time to start living up to it. Especially if it was the only way to save her people, herself and her love. Phantasmagoria swirled about the dark pit and began to piece together dusty clouds particle by particle until bound together in the image of her own Dream. She did almost forget that technically she was Dreaming right now, so her Phantasmagoria was basically omnipotent until she exited the Dream or woke up.
Moments after she'd completed her task, a strange sanguine gleam pierced the shadows behind her, all before a slender smile crept up the edges.
"... I see you've received your injection," the voice said, now pleased with what he laid eyes upon, "... Finally acquired your true 'Boss Status,' it seems. Hmhmhm..." Whether or not he heard her was of no matter to him; her part here was done and now the time to relax was hers. The shadow would slip off of her, releasing its grip from her neck and shift toward the Witch Province as it formed from her fingertips.
"Now... Awaken."
