The dark Shadow on the Red Moon shifted down the scape of the sky and down to the ground like blood pouring over the city. The shadow scoured the land and brought with it a ghastly howl that would alert all the Nytozins that it was time to come to order. Every goblin, every demon, every ghoul, every haunt, every mage and every supernatural entity within the Dark Realm would know of the forthcoming of the two; the Head Witch and the Lich King. Both vampirical overlords, Thanytoz and Meiun, blended as a single shadow, would sweep over the land and into their bloodstained Manor of 'Bloodrose,' the name none ever knew gazing upon the Scarlet Manor of the Blood Witches atop the hill.
When the Dark Ones finally made it up the stairs and into their room, their forms would contort lucidly from the umbra and fill with the deep, dark color of their respective hues as their Living Shadows detached and stood separate of one another; Thanytoz and Meiun. From the way things seemed, after Meiun reunited with Shintsuki, something awakened within Thanytoz that altered his form, as well... That which brought him the nostalgic knowledge and power of his ancient ancestor, Allsgrim, and the combination of that with the vessel of his son, Grimnyzmal.
"... Ahhh, it's been a while since I've been to our Second Home," he muttered, taking in the stench of fresh blood that he loved ever so much. "It's just a shame my daughters are no longer alive to enjoy it with us..." Thanks to the endeavors of the Dusk Shinobi that lived on the other side of the Midnight Mountains, the three Blood Witch Sisters had been slain long before peace was made. "Tragic..." he said, shaking his head solemnly, "They would have loved to see us at peace with the humans instead of being hunted by them and their Instruments..."
"Yeah, well..." the disembodied voice said until the shadows formed her complete image severed from the bound Living Shadows,
"Our fight isn't over just yet..."
Until the Dark Lands were restored completely and no longer filled with crazed, deranged, bloodthirsty murderous supernatural childish killers, they were still in quite the pinch. They needed to get control over their land here just like they'd done on the lighter side. The more territories they conquered, the more of their Kingdom would be restored, till the King and Queen were back on top in both the Light Side and the Dark Side.
"We need to inspect how many of our kin are still with us and how many have been lost already." She was already about business, 100% with just as strong a conviction as ever. Something about being around Thanytoz, maybe? Or perhaps, this was just how she was naturally and it just so happened that Thanytoz was similar. "I'm ready to whip a fuck up into shape if you are. Show them some manners." Honestly, she was just itching for some action. She knew that being kind and merciful to this lot was not the way to handle them, and she was actually anticipating what was going to get done when she was allowed to fuck one up. "I've got the Belt right here." She smirked and extended her hand, a long nebulous trail flowing from her fingertips and into her hand as a rose-like whip of glittering stars that looked like thorns on the stem. "You know they'll probably go into hiding now that they know we're back and we've seen what they did behind our backs." Yeah, it wasn't gonna be pretty... But it sure was gonna be a blast. A party in the Witch Province.
"Hmhmhm..." he chuckled grimly, smirking devilishly under the darkness of his robe covering his face, "... Then you'll be needing your most trusted companion, now won't you, my dear...!?" His eyes burst open with a malicious fury unlike one that had ever been seen in the face of existence. The glowing red irises narrowed into slits as fine and thin as his no longer visible pupils, beating powerfully as if being flexed intensely to maintain their undulating slit form. His mouth grew wide and his fangs elongated before throwing his cape outward to either side of him as glorious black wings as deep an abysmal black as they were velvet.
"... Come, my love..."
He outstretched his hand as claws started protruding from his fingertips and umbral scales of pseudo-physical form plated and flickered wispily about his growing body. "When the Blood Red Moon beams down upon the Dark Lands..." he smiled wide, as if crazed, trying to hold back his bloodthirsty anticipation, "... The only thing redder will be the Land alight with its crimson glow..." His body trembled, and with it, the undulating wings of the Black Dragon would cause all this land to quake with terror.
"You take the Head, Commander," he said, as if aching to relinquish his control to someone he knew that he could trust with his body whilst in such a state of unrelenting Insanity, "... And I'll take their HEARTS!!!" The Black Dragon's favorite midnight snack. It was about time for the misfits to get a taste of their worst nightmare...
Meiun kept her conviction about her after seeing what sort of devastation her chaotic anarchic people caused with their iniquities. Though she wanted to protect them, she was also not going to have them perpetuating the darkness they were working so hard to get rid of... And with that, they would go to SEE the darkness that they wished to spread and exist there... As she once did, in the land of Absolute Zero.
Once she saw Thanytoz start transforming into his monstrous Animal form, she was shocked and terrified to the point of paralysis. She could feel the Insanity inside of him burst from him in waves that were unimaginable... Like he'd been keeping something locked up so tightly and so deeply that she couldn't even comprehend the measure of it until he actually started to release it, and it only got worse by the moment. She truly thought that he might obliterate her the same way he was thinking to do the rest of them. But, as she looked up in horror at the hideous black shadow transmogrifying into the great Dragon King before her, she would see him just as kindly and lovingly outstretch his hand to her as if nothing had changed... and suddenly grew that much more secure in her faith. If he could have done this all this time and just didn't, and was only waiting for someone who would be able to tame him whilst he were on a rampage, then so be it. She would ride the Black Dragon and use his unmatched power to beat this land of Darkness and Evil into a bloody pulp.
"Hmph," she huffed with an ambitious pout, "Like it could be any other way when you get like this..." Though part of her confidence was feigned due to her terror, only her bond and trust helped her even utter those words and believe that he wouldn't ever turn against her, no matter what his shape, form nor mentality at the time. She took his claw with one hand and slung the Orion's Belt over his neck with the other one, drawing him close to her and planting a vicious kiss upon him as she stared aggressively into his changing, pulsating sanguine slits for eyes, "... Now show your Mistress how much you like the taste of her heart..." she licked her lips and winked before pulling herself upon his back and allowing him to continue drawing in power for the transformation. She sharpened her mind and hardened her heart so that when she snapped her whip at the unsuspecting ne'er do wells, she would not falter in her decision to have her monstrous companion to slaughter them and pluck out their pitiful excuses for hearts... Or to spare their sorry souls and save them from an untimely, yet probably well deserved end.
"Yeeeeeesss..." he grumbled, the Black Dragon raising his great and mighty hand up into the air, the darkness seeping through the physical structure of the house, "... It's about that time, isn't it...?" He licked his lips, already tasting that blood so precious to the Vampire's cold lips,
"FOR THE WITCH HUNT!!!"
As the darkness long kept contained as his human shaped form burst from its bindings and engulfed the entire scarlet manor, the land grew darker than even the shade of the Midnight Mountains cast over them were. The Living Shadow that was darker than a pitch black void, where even the darkness itself did not escape, had risen up and plastered its image upon the face of the mountains, gazing down at the cowering Fae.
"Boys and Girls of Every Age..." his voice bellowed powerfully like a deep bell, yet faintly, like a haunt through the streets, as if they were to already know what that meant the very moment the Song began, "... Wouldn't you like to see something strange...?" A sharp penumbra from the dark side of the moon wrapped around its form securely like a blanket, but pressed upon it with what seemed to be the intent to puncture it, like five needles deep into the flesh, "Come with Us and You will See..." The Shadow constricted it tightly, like a hand wrapped around a delicate neck with an intense, arresting grip. From Five Points, like the edges of a Star, rivers of red rushed from the wounds, as if a heart under attack and bleeding profusely.
"THIS, OUR TOWN OF HALLOWEEN!!!"
The Blood from the Moon washed over the land, spilling first from its wounds upon the form of the great, invisible tyrant towering over them that bathed in the overflowing meta essence. He uttered, rather sensually, "This is Halloween... This is Halloween..." his eyes rolling to the back of his head at the stimulating sensation and thoughts like the veins that rolled over his body and into rivers down below. Suddenly, an explosive intensity came over him as he basked in the smell, taste and delicacy of blood, eyes bulging suddenly like a shark that just caught the scent of its next meal and cried out with a shark-toothed, slit-mouthed smile,
"HALLOWEEN."
"HALLOWEEN!"
"HALLOWEEN!!"
HALLOWEEN!!!"
Mei was mortified by what literally just exploded out of Thanytoz out of nowhere. She didn't know what sort of darkness was within, nor how great it was, but it was very clear now what he'd been keeping contained under his dutiful and kind, but stern and strict nature. She could sense his malicious murderous intent that proved far greater than any she'd ever seen, and for whom? They that ran the streets and lurked in the shadows committing heinous crimes and foolish blatant destruction upon their land and people? She understood why this was so now... The connection she had to him now allowed her to understand that malice. Now that she understood it, realizing that she felt just the same... She loved it, and wished for retribution. Her eyes hardened as she rose, being held up upon the top of the head of the creature as though its crown, stepping to the moon and letting the bloodbath begin.
"In This Town..." she uttered softly, the same stimulating sensation and thought overcoming her as it did her Living Shadow below, "... We call Home..." A righteous conviction overcame her as, in one hand she would take the cosmic chain and in the other, extend yet another whip to strike down whichever was the next target on their 'Death List,'
"EVERYONE HAIL TO THE PUMPKIN SONG!!!"
He was set free to do whatever he wished to them until they paid back every last red cent of what they owed back to the Land and each Other. They'd taken too much from too many places and had not given back in order to continue the Cycle. Now they would Pay for taking Lives, both Directly and Indirectly with their Own. She would watch over her people and crack them with the Orion's Belt whenever they needed a spanking, then let the Living Shadow that had taken the form of the Black Dragon have their remains when she was done beating them to an inch of their lives. With every strike, energy would spray from their bodies like blood and be absorbed into the land to make it grow and prosper again. This is their Atonement under the Red Moon.
"Soko da..." she muttered, snapping her finger to sharply accuse the first Witch on Trial; the Crier in the Streets. Charges? For Warning the People, which, in this case, because they were the criminals, counted as being an 'Accomplice.' They were assisting something along that perpetuated evil and filth, so it actually came back to her detriment when counting up the Karmic Retribution, since it would do more harm than good overall beyond that instant she believed she was doing something good. "Go get her, Sweetheart..." 'The Path to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions,' they say... Guess that's why. They'd better think next time.
At her command, light of the Red Moon cast a great shadow over the land... Known to the inhabitants of the realm of yore as
Allsgrim; The Living Shadow.
Whatever form it had already absorbed, it could integrate into its own and use at its leisure, even to completely become something else whilst still retaining its own sentience as itself. All other Living Shadows came from and were conjoined with the Original; Allsgrim, himself. It was revealed that 'Allsgrim' was not a name, but a Title, and it belonged now to the Original's Second Son, 'Grimnyzmal the Abyzmal.' Thus, taking on the form of the Black Dragon, the true shape of Thanytoz stretched from behind Meiun and wrapped around the moon, cradling it gently in its arms whilst glaring with a twisted insanity upon everything and everyone else. To her, the eyes would always be soft and without malice, but to those others that she charged would he sentence swiftly with accurate judgment and justice. It was like he was waiting for an eternity for them to be ripe enough to eat... Like grapes on a vineyard prepared to be pressed for all that they were worth, until they burst... and all the sweet, creamy juices would spill into the mouth of the monster that would torture their minds, bodies and souls as long as they lived... till the Price for the Land and the Energy that they did not Own were Properly Payed For.
He said nothing, but in both their hearts, they would know that they were thinking, feeling and wishing for the same thing, regardless how the two differed so much in appearance right now. And so, he whipped his tail, connected to the Black Dragon like a puppet on a thick invisible wire out from under the waterfall of blood and out into the streets, spreading the seed of the Shadows out as Nightmarish Dragon Spawn released from a prison to feast. His children were free, and though harboring the form of a Dragon, were naught but the Shadows of the Beings they Mimicked and would Torment as their Guilt. All he had to do was watch them wither... like Roses that no longer Flourished and Radiated Beauty, but had lived Long Past Their Age and Time, and thus were naught but Decrepit and Vile Haunts that stole from the other Blooms in an attempt to prolong their already outdated lives. New Flowers needed to be planted... and Fed with the Blood of their Ancestors. That is how one Passes Down, so it is time to Pass Over.
