Kathryn's POV

In all honesty, I wasn't sure if the feelings I felt were mutual or not, but I was too afraid to talk to anyone about it. Since I was too embarrassed and afraid to try to ask anyone about it, I was gonna try and figure it on my own. Unfortunately, all that did was confuse me even more. Do I need to ask someone for help? But who? Will it be Anthony, Madilyn, Skylar?

Skylar's POV

I was surprised by the small kiss. "H-Hey Kat, how are you feeling?" I asked. "I feel much better. Thanks for caring for me." She replied shyly. "No problem." I said, with a smile...

Anthony's POV

I was sitting on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Damn it. I can't go back to sleep. Thanks a lot Sky. I slowly sat up and got out of bed. I suppose I won't be sleeping in today. Mad still hasn't responded to my text, but that makes sense. It was only slightly after 6:00 a.m that I texted her, so she was probably still sleeping. What on earth was actually going on between Kat and Sky? I honestly wanted to know. Both of them had been acting strangely. Sure, it was only one day after the beach incident, but it made me wonder more. Was there something going on that I should know about?

Madilyn's POV

I lay on my side, staring at my phone. Those two seemed to be getting too intimate with each other. It honestly disgusted me, but I usually chose to ignore the two. I wonder what Anthony thought of it or did he even know? I replied to his text, "Thanks for notifying me. That's unfortunate that Kat caught a cold., but it's not too much of a shock... They did jump into the water at the beach." He replied, "No problem. Yeah, it is unfortunate for Kat, but you are correct that it wasn't a shock that she caught a cold." I said, "H-Hey... Do you feel as if those two are keeping something from us? Do you think there's something going on between those two that we should know about?"

Anthony's POV

I was caught completely off guard by her questions. It was true that I thought they were keeping things from us, but it was their choice to tell us. "Sure. I thought it was quite apparent that something had happened between them, but it's their choice whether or not they tell us about it. So until that happens, let's just back off." I replied. "Oh. Alright, but do not think they get to intimate with each other?" She said. "Again sure I've thought that, and I've seen it with my own eyes. It's something that is beyond me though. I've had my times where I wanted to ask them about it." I said. Was this bothering Mad that bad?

Skylar's POV

"Hey. Sky?" Kathryn said, now sitting at my side. "Hmm? Yes?" I said. "Do you think it's weird? Is it awkward to you?" She questioned. I became quite nervous by her question and struggled to say, "Y-Yes... I find it quite strange..."

Kathryn's POV

"Yeah that's what I was expecting to hear... Can I ask you something?" I said . "Y-Yeah... Sure. Ask away." She said. "Alright then." I said, as I turned to her. "What kind of love do you think goes between you and I?" I asked. "Well I used to think it was just mutual, but you seem to be treating it differently." She said. "Y-Yeah about that... In all honesty... I don't really understand what I feel..." I said shyly, my head lowered. "Oh. Really? I suppose I should tell you that I noticed that from the start." Sky said. "Sorry for creating all this awkward shit." I said, getting annoyed with myself. "It's okay. I'll always be here for you. If you ever have anything you need to say, just ask. I'd gladly answer any questions you have. Don't stress about asking." Sky said, with a smile. "Th-Thank you." I said while getting up from my bed. Walking over to my dresser, I grabbed some clothes, and headed to the bathroom. I changed out of my pajamas. So I suppose now I just need to figure out the rest, right? What is it that I seek? Sky will only see me as her best friend, and I want to only see her that way too, so I need to find out more about love. Was I seeking someone in particular? I'm not sure, but I will figure it out before I return. For now I will leave and figure out what I want to do with my life. I don't want to cause anymore tension until then.

Skylar's POV

Where did Kathryn go? It sure it taking her a while to get dressed, and Kathryn never takes this long to change. I got up and went to check the bathroom. She wasn't there. I spotted a card on the kitchen counter. It read: "I will return eventually. Don't worry about me while I'm gone. I will be fine. Don't go looking for me but let me find my future on my own. Don't change while I'm gone. Sincerely, Kathryn." I gave a light smile at the note. Go ahead, Kat. Find your future and return when you feel you're ready.

Kathryn's POV

As I began to exit the city in which I lived the major part of my life, a smile appeared on my face. "Sayonara. Sky. Mad. Anthony."

And just like that, she was gone. What will happen while Kathryn is gone? What will Madilyn and Anthony think? Will Sky be able to handle being alone? When will Kathryn return? Will how she views her life change when she returns?
