"Today, our lesson is gonna be a little different." Blade said. I was lost as we started walking to his car.

"Where are we going?"

"The park."

"What's at the park?"

"You'll see."

We kept driving for a while until we reached a small lake; we got out of the car & began to walk around. It was cool, but not cold; crows were everywhere staring at us. Blade started to lead me down an isolated path through a wooded area; I started to get nervous. Where were we going? "Stop." I bumped into him & he chuckled. "No ones around... perfect." He faced me & I began to back up. A hand extended to me & I flinched, closing my eyes. "Lillian... look." a crow was perched on his hand. It's eyes were solid white. "This is Gabbi. She's a Gazer. They're low level demons who report to high up ones. Gabbi, say hi." the crow changed, becoming a 13 year old girl. She was tan, but parts of her skin were white. Her hair was an ombre from dark brown to white & she wore a red dress with a pink bear on it. Her shoes were red too & she wore a black face mask with a 'X' over the mouth. "Hello." she said, waving, but her eyes grew wide. "Oh my... I'm sorry. I have to go. It was a pleasure to meet you Lady Nakajima." the girl became a bird again & flew off.

"Was that what you had to show me?"

"Yes... & to confirm something."

"Confirm what?"

"Nothing... nothing. Nothing with you anyway."

"O... ok... so where to now?"

"Home for you. I have some things to take care of."

"Alright."

We kept driving & he drove into my driveway. As we got out of the car, we were suddenly stopped; there was a familiar man in our way. He was pale with blonde hair & blue eyes, wearing a tank top & jeans with combat boots. "Woah. Sorry man, didn't see you t-" his eyes locked onto me & I sank further away. "Oh... hey cutie. Good to see you again. How are y-" my body erupted into golden flames as Blade looked a bit lost. "Lillian, calm d-" "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" the man began to shake & his skin turned blue. Another set of arms appeared out of his back & his hair became a dark blue color with a dark teal streak. He also grew another set of eyes, all of them bright yellow; he chuckled. "Woah... strong little thing aren't ya?" Blade recognized the man when he did that. "Demon... Lillian, how did you-" Blade cut the sentence short when he noticed the flames reaching for the man. Blade took my hand & began to chant. "Relax... c'mon, let's go." he led me inside the house as the monster turned demon called out to me. "Bye cutie!"

"I-Is that normal?"

"Not in the slightest. There are only two Demons that have ever been able to push back another Devil's human reflection."

"Who?"

"A woman named Poppy & my mother... still... there's nothing saying that you just aren't gifted though..."

"But wait... I'm not a Devil, so how?"

"Let me try something."

He touched our foreheads to each other & I noticed his eyes glowing a bright red. He touched his lips to both my cheeks, then forehead, then all over my neck. "I-I know this is normal... but it's s-still... weird..."

"I'm aware... now be still."

His lips suddenly kissed my collarbone as the door flew open. "HEY LITTLE SIS!" I shoved Blade away as Jonesie tossed me a candy bar. "Here's that for ya... John." My sister & John have never gotten along very well for some reason. Jonesie has always been over protective of me, but our dad's a cop, so I don't blame her. "Lilly!" I snapped towards her as she & John were about to fight.

"Tell him to go."

"I leave when she wants me to."

"Big talk coming from a skinny guy like you."

"Jone! Just leave him alone."

She didn't like it, but my sister backed off. "I'll see you tomorrow John." I said, using his human name. "See you." he said leaving.
