Hey guys, my new novel called An End To The Nightmares came out. It is also a Bl novel but has a bit more of my time and feelings poured into it.
I stood and Alec grabbed my arm “I was asked to go to that school because I was a great student.” I shook off his grasp and walked on I waved my hand and walked to the door, “Well I am glad I am not some genius or great student.” My brother grabbed my shoulder and turned me to him “Gale don’t you dare throw away your brain just because of others.” I brushed off his hand and looked at him “Why are we even talking?” I said staring into his eyes knowing he wanted to ask me something. “I want to know why you don’t want to get away from Fletch he is a bad influence on you. Let alone the fact he is gay he is also interested in you. I have never seen you act like this before… Gale what is going on with you, this fag is toxic.” I clenched my fists and bit my tongue I looked my brother in the eye as felt my love for him fade as I thought about what he would think if I came out to him, I looked back to the ground my mind ran over the fact I could never be myself. “What do you really think of that guy?” I raised my head at my brother’s question “He is a great guy, why should what gender he likes effect a judgment on a person? He got stabbed in the hand to protect me. I doubt you would ever even think about doing the same for me!” I walked away from my brother ran down the stairs. “I am going to call the school and let them know the plan.” I said grabbing my phone from my pocket as I looked to Fletch who was playing with the dogs, Fletch ran to my side. “Are you alright?” I nodded and pointed to the phone “I need to talk to the leaders at my school do you mind staying with my brother?” Fletch looked to him and Alec glared him down. “I need to stay at your side and some time outside is sounding good right now.” I nodded and Fletch followed me outside I walked down a trail in the woods as I spoke with the principal at my school while Fletch ran around in wolf form I walked as he sped up when something ran around in the bushes he chased after it. I told them something had happened and that my family member wanted me to have a trained guard with me at school. They seemed rather surprised but we worked out the fact as long as Fletch had no weapons and checked in with me and didn’t cause too much trouble with other students it would be fine. I looked to Fletch as he ran to me holding a rabbit I sat next to him on a rock as he ate “Hey Fletch can you like cover your ears and tail?” Fletch sat and finished chewing and paused thinking he nodded “Yes there is a way to do that I would need a magic user and I don’t know of any in the human area and I can not go into the magic bounds without leaving your side.” I rubbed my face thinking of him walking around in his hood and cloak and the school mistaking him for a terrorist and locking don the school and then the police showing up and blasting him up with bullets. “Oh, there is a special kind or jewel that witches put spells on to hid scents, power, and animals parts but the price on those is about 15 gold I do not know what money humans use. I also can feel a strange magical feeling from that direction I think it might be a magic user but if it is then it might be a banished one. ” Fletch rubbed his head and went on eating I pulled out my phone looking over any scary witch shops I scouted one out and told Alec I needed to get something for Fletch. After what seemed like an hour of arguing he let us leave and wanted to drive us, Fletch shook his head “No I do not like the cars moving.” I sighed and looked to Fletch “we can’t walk the whole way there it would take forever,” Fletch shook his head and pointed to himself proudly, “I can run you there.” I smiled thinking of riding on Fletch’s back “Okay let’s go.” My brother grabbed my arm as we headed for the door “You could take Caster.” I shook my head “Caster knows Fletch is part animal and can’t stand to be near him let alone have him chasing her she would bolt and plus I have no idea how to ride a horse.” My brother glared me down and crossed his arms “just remember what we talked about.” I scoffed and adjusted my hoodie “I hope I never do,” I said under my breath as we headed out stood in wolf form he towered over me I struggled to get on and when I did my brother seemed upset I wanted to be with Fletch rather than him but who would want to stick around with a small minded, cowardice, homophobe. Fletch ran non-stop until we got to the edge of the town he went to human form and he wore the cloak which didn’t really make us blend in. Walking on the streets of this place was scary gangs and bikers in each ally picking on some poor guy who owed them money. Fletch jumped at every passing car, every car horn blare that rang out without warning made him hold his ears groaning. The sound of a city like this would annoy anyone with a set of great ears it must have been horrible. When we finally got the creepy shop a woman stood behind the counter wearing creepy clothes holding a crow and stroking it, her voice rang out speaking Norse I didn’t really understand all of it. Fletch took off his hood and the woman came over her crow took to a shelf, she had black hair and wore a black dress with huge sleeves she had many rings and jewels. Her eyes had a white glare on them and I knew she was blind, “It is so nice to meet a changeling it’s been so long.” her hand reached out and touched Fletch’s ears “What can I do for your two?” She slowly pulled her hand back and Flect held her hand “My name is Fletch and I am protecting a human due to a life debt… Moving around the city like this is hard do you have any magic jewels to hide my ears and tail?” Fletch stroked the woman’s hand “I do,” She walked through the store with ease avoiding shelves and opening drawers with ease she ran her fingers over the different jewels and pulled a necklace with a blue stone the colors seemed to swirl around and dance. “Free of charge young man,” She came toward Fletch and reached out to him he held out his hand and she set the necklace in his hand and closing his fingers around it. She touched the bandage around the knife wound and stopped confused they spoke Norse and I stood confused she sighed and gently tore at the bandage and slowly removed it. “Larz come her,” she said reaching out the bird flew over to her and she touched Fletch’s hand and it started to glow green and I watched as the blood crawled back to the wound and the skin smoothed over and it was healed. The woman tapped Fletch’s hand and smiled “Stay strong live long,” She reached up and touched his scar over his left side of his face touching his hair and rubbing his face “stay strong, live long.” He took her hand and kissed it “We will return soon young maiden.” Fletch said as we left the bell on the door rang as we left Fletch put the necklace on and I watched as his ears and tail shrunk. Fletch took off his cloak and walked around shirtless, he pointed out the simplest of things and questioned me about them far more than I ever thought was possible but it was great watching him run around smiling figuring out the world like some kind of kid. We went shopping for clothes getting him clothes for school a more suit like clothing and then casual for the house. I had to help him a lot more than I thought I was going to have to and it really hurt me as I gazed into the scar of his face The dark sky quickly took on as we made our way home not the greatest city to walk in at night but Fletch did draw some attention the scars and his fit body and warm body. I shook my head and Fletch threw his cloak on me and clipped it and smiled “it ate you.” He pulled back the hood a bit looking for my face a group of men seemed to start following us. “Oi big boy you want to tell us why you are on our turf?!” I Fletch pushed me behind him and glared them down “I do not understand.” Fletch said whispering to me as the group decided to surround us, “He thinks you are on his land he does bad things here and doesn’t want a big guy here.” Fletch grabbed my hand and kept walking, “Oi scar face where the fuck, do you think you are going?!” The man followed us and the group, their faces covered with masks and hoods as they followed us another group stood in front of us. Cornering us into an ally we stood, Fletch looked to the group as they flooded the ally way holding a gun to us they demanding our money. Fletch covered me and looked to me “I can’t take on all of these guys in this form.” Fletch said looking to the guys, “Look big-guy, you seem to understand how power works you give me the money and we let you go keep the money we beat you or kill you and still take the money.” The man pointed the gun point blank at Fletch “I do not understand what this stick is supposed to do.” Fletch looked to the man and the man chuckled and cocked the gun, “Give us the money and you won’t find out.” I grabbed Fletch as my body shook the guys laughed as they also had guns they pulled from their shirts. “Those are guns, we need to just give them the money we can’t beat guns.” Fletch pushed me back and stood the gun fired and he dropped, “thought I told you to just give me the money trying to be a hero ain’t gonna help anyone.” Blood poured from Fletch’s head as my body shook I felt my heart fall as I backed up from Fletch his body wiggled and flinched and that was it a tiny hole in his head as blood poured from it, I dropped to my knees and tears poured from my face as I clung to his head. “Fletch, please. You can’t just leave me like this, Fletch!!” the man who shot put the gun to my head the cold metal made my body shake. I looked down the barrel of the gun and just sat there thinking of all of the kids at school, the days of abuse, the scars, the fears and dreams that tore apart my sleepless nights. The man chuckled “so you just gonna die just like that give up?” I nodded a strand of Fletch’s hair in my hand the few days we had spent together were good enough to make up for the years of hell. Feltch’s body began to shake thrashing around Fletch grabbed the necklace and sat up slowly and took off the necklace handed it to me. “That shit hurt I am lucky we decided not to wear the new clothes home.” Fletch touched his head and stood he looked to the group and they shot a few more rounds Fletch’s body thrashed with each hit and he went into Wolf form and charged each one taking their guns and biting them into pieces with one snap of his jaw. I looked to the blood stain from Fletch’s headshot and cried after he fought he stretched out his hand to me. “You scared me.” I said as I held my heart Fletch rubbed his neck “that magic user helped me regain my healing powers but the stone weakens my healing power”. We walked away and Fletch walk perfectly fine covered in his own blood I sighed and I grabbed his hand my body still shaking, we walked home not much talking mostly Fletch checking on me every once and a while. When we did get back to the house Alec was sitting on the porch when he saw us he ran over Fletch’s blood-soaked body made him sick by the time he was done Fletch was already cleaned off and running around outside seeking his dinner. “Whose blood was that?” I explained to my brother what happened and he rang out saying if I had just given my money none of it would have happened when I told him if they hadn’t attacked us they would have found someone else who would have done what he said and then there would be another it wouldn’t stop until someone like Fletch showed them that their power was nothing. I went to bed early and not long after Fletch laid down he was in my room with me reading a book. The image of his dead body filled my head “Fletch you really scared me…” I said tears running down my face Fletch held out his hand and gently touched my face wiping away the tears. “I am sorry I will make sure to get you away before getting into another fight.” I buried my face in his chest and I his warmth swallowed me and I slowly forgot the toxic world I lived in only Fletch and me the warmth and happiness of us. “I want to be with you, ” Fletch said as he stroked my head not understanding why humans could be so cruel as to hate someone because of who they liked. I pushed him away and sat up “You should go to your room.” Fletch slowly got up and left closing the door on his way out, I laid in my room the bed and blankets began to eat away at me going over the image of his dead body. The voice inside me rang out “he had to take a bullet because you couldn’t stand up for yourself you stupid little cunt.” My hands clung to my head as my mind filled with toxic thoughts of Fletch dying because of me or him straight up leaving after I would finally accept him. The image of my mother’s skinny hand thrashing around as her body flicked and arched. The machines she was hooked up to, rang out with the straight line filling each mentor. Her head covered with the beanie I choose for her and I watched as her eyes flickered between going into the back of her head to glaring at me. Her bony hand grabbed the bars on the side of the bed and her grasp came to my face she choked me. Her body sat straight as her eyes flickered into the back of her head, “you will always be alone.” The coldness of her hand sent a chill down my spine, I tore at my throat and everything faded to black. I was in a pitch black world beyond four walls of glass filled with water, I watched as my last breath escaped my mouth as bubbles that broke as the reached the top of the glass cage. I couldn’t breathe yet I screamed I watched as the bubbles flew from my mouth as no sound came out. Everything went black and my father stood a belt in hand as he stood over a shirtless boy who had scars on his back from that very belt. I watched as my father whipped me with the belt and I screamed I couldn’t do anything as I felt every single thing he did to the boy in front of me. The boy raised his head after everything was over and smiled and reached out and touched my face. “You are Alone.” The boy’s eyes were pitch black and his mouth was sewn shut with black wire, black wire around his neck I watched as it tightened and his body flew back and dangled the air escaped my mouth and I felt the wire tighten around my neck. I tore open the skin at my neck and watched as my hands were covered in blood as I dug my nails into my neck and tried to tear away the wire. I screamed and I sat up in my bed the world shaking and color fading in and out I screamed as my hands clung to my head I struggled to breathe. I thrashed around and rolled off the bed I went to the cornered and watched as the world spun and my world flickered like my mother’s eyes. I tore at the skin on my wrist, I struggled to breathe.
