We bought steak and bread for everyone. I would have to start working to keep this up. We got back and everyone got their food. Darien came over. “So are you ready to start the house?” I smiled thinking about how we were going to build our house. “Ya lets get started.” I thought about something. “How does a multiple floor house sound to you guys?” the wolves howled and waged their tails.
“That sounds great alpha.” I smiled. “I thought so too. Ok, we need materials for the house and lot of them. I want this to be big enough for all of us. I will also make it into the ground to since we will be on a hill.” they all nodded. “Let's go and see if Samantha knows anyone who can build. That way it goes faster.”
The wolf's decided it would be best if they took turns walking with me. We got up the hill to Samantha's house and I knocked on her door. Samantha came out and greeted me. “Hello Yuko how is your day going?” I smiled. “It is going great. I was just wondering if anyone here was a builder? And if we could get help in our house.” she nodded.
“Ya, I know some people who will help you build your house. They will be more than willing. It will also give them a chance to get to know you better.” I started to wonder who they could be. “Who is it?” she didn't tell me but she had a weird look on her face.
“Seriously Samantha who is it?” we walked for a while then we came to a tower. “We’re here. I want you to meet properly this time.” I looked at her funny. “Come on let's go up.” Why do I have a funny feeling about this? We got up to the top to see two men arguing over something. And one in a corner reading something.
I could sense another one but I couldn't see him. “Hey stop arguing we have company.” They stopped to look over at us. “Yuko this is Tomas” she pointed to the tall blond male. He smiled at me he seemed like the type to be shy. “This is William.” I looked at him. He was the one who tackled me the other day. He waved.
“And this id Dante.” she pointed to a blue haired male. “She wants to know if you would be willing to help her build her house.” they nodded. “Ya, we will gladly help build your house. Where do you want to build it?” I smiled. Just follow me and I will show you.” we walked out of the tower and back to camp.
“Ok guys I got us some helpers lets go and start building.” they all nodded and grabbed all of our stuff. We walked over to the mountain side. It was close to Samantha’s house but still hidden. “We will be building it so it faces the town.” I had marked our path with some string.
We would build a path later. “We are going to build a house with enough room for all of us. So we need ten different rooms. Four bedrooms. three bathrooms, a kitchen, a basement, and a living room. I will be making some more rooms underground in the basement. I want extra rooms if we decide to expand.” they all nodded and we all went to start our sections.
I had to send Sammy over to lissa’s so that she wasn't in the way. I was building the basement. The wolf's help me dig away the dirt. I made the basement big enough for the whole pack to live in and added some extra rooms. I built some secret rooms as well. I wanted to have some rooms for privacy. The wolves knew that they were there but my siblings wouldn't.
I went upstairs to see what progress was made. They had managed to make the first floor the living room with a bathroom. They had the kitchen on the second floor. And they were still working on the two bedrooms one bathroom third floor. Tomas and William seemed to be doing the interior. I decided to help them.
“Wow. It's impressive what you can get done with the right help.” Tomas looked at me and smiled. “Ya, we are just happy that we could help.” I smiled. “I'm just happy you didn't kill me when you thought I was a bandit.” They looked ashamed of that. I laughed. “Hey don't worry about it what kind of alpha would I be if I couldn't take on someone like you.”
they looked at me surprised. “Your an alpha.” I nodded. “Ya, but it wasn't my choice. Theis guys chose me. Not the other way around.” They still seemed a little shocked. “Well don't you have a mate then?” I frowned. “I don't need a mate to be alpha yet. I don't need one till I'm older.”
he looked at me confused. “What do you mean?” I looked at him. “It means I have two years to find a mate. Or I will be given one by the pack.” I looked at the pack. “Isn't that right.” they shook signaling yes. “Yes, alpha that is correct. Two years then you get a mate either of our choice or yours.” I nodded. “Thought so.” William looked at me than the wolfs. “Can you talk to them and them to you?” I and the wolfs looked at him shocked.
“Yes, that is exactly how it works. How did you know?” he looked nervous. “J-just an l-lucky guess?” I didn't believe him but I will let it slide. Darien was up on the third floor with Dante. We could hear them arguing. I yelled up at them. “Hey stop arguing like children and let's get this place finished up and put a roof on it today!” we went up to help finish up the rooms.
-------------??? P.o.v.---------------
I watched from a distance as some new people build a house in town. One of them was very beautiful. “Hm, I wonder who that is.” I walk closer to listen in on their conversation. “It means I have two years to find a mate. Or I will be given one by the pack.” she looked at the wolfs. “Isn't that right.” they shook signaling yes.
She nodded. “Thought so.” William looked at her then the wolfs. “Can you talk to them and them to you?” she and the wolfs looked at him shocked. “Yes, that is exactly how it works. How did you know?” he looked nervous. “J-just an l-lucky guess?” I could tell she didn't believe him but she let it slide. Someone was up on the third floor with Dante.
They could hear them arguing. She yelled up at them. “Hey stop arguing like children and let's get this place finished up and put a roof on it today!” they went up to help finish up the house. “Interesting. I wonder how she came here.” I watched as the finished the house. I decided it was time I was heading back. “I will have to ask around about her.”
-------------Yuko’s p.o.v.-----------
Once we finished the house we started working on the path. Once we finished we went up to Samantha’s house. She was sitting down at her table talking to Layla. She was holding little Lucas. I knocked on the door. “Come in.” I walked in. “hello Samantha, I was wondering if there is somewhere we can get furniture for our house?” she stood up. “Oh, your already finished building?” I nodded.
“Yes it took all day but we wanted to finish before nightfall.” she nodded. “So the furniture would be best to get from Michael. And for clothes and stuff like that then you can talk to Annabella. She is the outfit goddess.” I smiled. “Thank you and I guess we do need some new clothes. I will talk to her tomorrow.”
We woke up early so that we could go hunting for some food. I walked out of the basement. My company for the day following. We went into the woods to hunt. I took my bow with me. We saw a fox run past us. We stopped to see what it was running from. “What do you think that was about?” The wolfs shook. “Don't know alpha. Everything seems ok.” We continued our hunt. We eventually came across a stream.
We stopped because it is a great place to hunt. I waited for a deer to come by. We waited for a while. “Alpha look.” I turned my head in the direction the wolf was looking. There was a deer walking towards the stream. “Good job.” I pulled back the bow and aimed. Before I could release my arrow someone else’s whizzed by the deer spooking it. I reamed following it then released my arrow. I hit it in the leg making it fall.
I saw someone running after the deer. “Go protect our claim!” the wolfs ran ahead to claim our hunt. I approached the person. “Hey what do you think you are doing that was my deer.” I looked at the person. “No, I saw it first. You just didn't aim long enough and missed that is why it isn't your claim.” they looked at me angrily. “Well, then why don't you prove it!” I whistled. My wolf's where dragging the deer over.
“I use special arrows. They have different feathers than normal so let's see who’s claim it is.” I pulled the arrow out. “Let me see one of your arrows.” they reluctantly handed me one of their arrows. “Now see here this arrow has shorter feathers and yours had longer more rigid ones.” they sighed in defeat. “Fine it is your claim.” they disappeared without another word. “Ok let's get this back to camp. I think the others should be up by now.”
They nodded in agreement. “Ya and bet they're hungry too.” I laughed. “You're always hungry.” he stopped for a second and thought. “Oh that's right I am.” we laughed and continued our walk home. Once we got there we portioned out the deer for everyone. I let the wolves keep the bones for the little ones to now on.
We left home to go and talk with Michael about furniture and to Annabella about some new clothes. Michael was one of the people who were out of town when we were first given the tour of the village. We walked out to the town square. There was a man standing looking bored at one of the stands. He must be Michale we walked up to his stand. He straightened up and looked me over. “What can I do for you today?” I smiled.
“Samantha told me to come here for furniture. She said it was the best place for getting house stuff.” he scoffed. “Ya, that sounds like something she would say. So what do you need and when do you need it by?” I thought about it. “Well, I need three beds one black, one red, and one purple, and three dressers. I also need kitchen stuff like cabinets and all that stuff, then I need three couches, four tables, and fifteen chairs. I will need three desks, bookshelves, and wall shelves. I need it as soon as you can get it.”
He finished writing everything down in his book for orders. “Ok, the total will come out around one hundred and fifty diamonds. You can either split the payment for before and after or pay it all now.” he looked at me. “I will pay it all now.” I whistled and one of my wolfs came over carrying a pouch. “Here are your diamonds.” He had a shocked look on his face. “Hello?” I waved my hand in front of him, he snapped out of it and shook his head. “Are you ok?” he looked at me. “Ya, I'm just perfect. I will have your order here to pick up within the week” he sounded a little off.
I decided to talk to him for a bit. Somehow we got onto the conversation of werewolves. “Ya, I got bit by one not too long ago.” I looked at him. “Oh well, I was born as one. Not the best childhood.
I was raised in a village with my brother and sister we were told our parents went missing when I was ten. My sister had just only turned six, and my brother was eight.” He had a sad look on his face. “But I did my best to raise them it took awhile but I got it done.”
He looked at me and asked. “If you are a werewolf then where are your ears and tail?” I remembered that they were hidden. “Oh, I hid them. I don't want to freak people out more than I already do.” I made my ears and tail appear.
They where red at the tips. “They aren't like normal peoples, I was born half meif'wa half werewolf.” he seemed shocked. But I was used to that face by now. “Wow, you're beautiful. You shouldn't hide what you are just so that people will accept you. I don't so neither should you.”
I was blushing. “T-thank you. And I will think about what you said. I have to go now. I'll talk to you later.” he nodded. I left to go and talk to Annabella. I walked to where lissa had her maid cafe. I was guessing it was the house with all the flowers in front of it.
I knocked on her door. I could hear a faint come in. we walked in and but didn't see her. “I'm downstairs.” we walk over to the staircase and go down. “Hello we were wondering if we could get some clothes.” she smiled at the word clothes. “I would love to make you some clothes.”
