I was still following Allister. “Are we there yet?” I was getting bored so I decided to start asking are we there yet every five minutes. “No. stop asking” I could see that he wanted to say something else. I kept asking for an hour. He finally stopped. We were standing by a huge tree. He started to climb it. He looked back to see me just standing there.
He climbed back down and made me get on his back. He secured me to him by merging the bracelets together. I didn't say anything. He climbed the tree to the top and let me get off. There was a platform with railing for us to stand on. “I don't let anyone come here. I come here to think and relax.” I looked at him. “Why did you bring me here then?”
He looked at me sadly. “I wanted to apologize for everything you went thru and I wanted to ask you to forgive me.”I looked at him. “I really did mean it when I said I love you.” I let a tear roll down the side of my face. He walked over and rubs it away. “I really did miss you. I never stopped thinking about you.” I looked at him and smiled.
“I never forget you rather.” It was true I always blamed myself for his death. Because if I didn't take the ball of water none of this would have happened and we would have been happy together. I wish I could go back. I wanted to go back and change what happened for so many years.“I never blamed you for what happened.”
I looked at Him and smiled. “I missed you too much to blame you for that.” He smiled it didn't last long. “While I was in the nether they tried to make me believe that you were the one that killed me but I didn't believe them. I Just couldn't see you doing that to me.” I almost gave in but then I remembered what you said to me. That you would always remember me.”
I smiled I was happy that he was ok now. Then I remembered. “Um, I should tell you that our village was destroyed a few weeks ago. We were caught on the edge of the war. They came out of nowhere and destroyed and killed everyone who didn't get away.”
He looked at me shocked. “How did they get in?” I shook my head. “I don't know I think they blew up the gate. They were everywhere before we could even react.” He nodded understanding. “Is that where you were heading?” I nodded. “Yes, I was on my way back to see if there was anything left.”
I was hoping that there was something specific still there. He nodded. “Can I come with you?” I thought about it. “Sure it was your home as well as mine so it's only right you come back with me.” I looked at him. “I was thinking about retiring as lord anyway. I was actually thinking of who I should pick.”
I looked at him. “Why quit now you seem to be doing so well.” He looked at me. “I wanted to go out and look for you every day I was here. Now that I've finally found you I don't want to leave you again.” I smiled. “I missed you so so much.” I hugged him. He seemed to tense up at first but he melted into it and hugged me back.
“We should go back I think my friends are going to start to worry about me.” He nodded. “Don't worry I have a shortcut.” I looked at him as he walked to a door and opened it. There was a small portal big enough for one person. I looked at him and then back at the portal. “I had to make it small enough to be hidden. It leads to my room in my house.” I nodded.
He held out his hand to me. I took it and he leads me thru the door. When I walked out the other side I felt sick. “It is normal to feel sick the first time thru any portal.” He let me get my balance back before he leads me to my friends. There were guards standing in front of the door. He signed for them to open the door. We stepped thru the doorway to see them either standing or sitting against the wall.
When they saw me they jumped up and hugged me. They hugged me a little too hard. “Cant breath.” they let go of me. “Sorry. So what happened.” I looked at Allister. “We had a talk about what we missed while we were apart.
They looked at me and then him. “We grew up together. I made a mistake and paid with my life. I put the one I loved in danger and I couldn't stop it. I had to die to save her.” Samantha gave him a sad look. William and Allister made eye contact. “How come I never saw you in the nether?” Allister frowned. “I escaped a few years ago.” He looked down at the floor.
“I went looking for Yuko but I knew I couldn't go back to my old village or else I would have killed the lord I lived under.” William nodded. “I know that feeling it is the worst thing possible.” I looked around to see that Samuel and Thomas were standing by the wall glaring at each other.
“Hey, Samantha did something happen between the boys over theirs? They look like they are ready to kill each other.” She looked at them and laughed. “Oh, they are Just being boys. They got into an argument about who knows you better and who you trust more.” I laughed which got the boys attention.
“Yuko! Your back.” I nodded. Samantha laughed. “She has been here for a while.” Allister looked around. “Well, I bet you are all hungry. I would be grateful if you would be my guest for dinner.” I looked at him. “I would love to.” they looked at me surprised. “I think you and Samantha here should have a conversation about what you said earlier.”
He looked at her then back at me and nodded. “Yes, I would like to have a talk with your lady Samantha.” The boys looked at him and then at me. “It's fine he won't hurt her.” I looked at him. He smirked. I glared at him knowing what he was thinking.
“Don't.” he didn't listen and used his magic to pull me closer to him. “I love you Yu.” I blushed as he used my old nickname. “You know I don't like that nickname.” he chuckles. “That is why I use it. You know I love to pester you.”
