I kept coming to Zen's part of the lab more and more everyday before lunch and after school. It was interesting, all the information people have gathered including him. Especially him, his evidence was amazing...and I'm needing again.

I walked to lunch with my hoodie up to keep my tail and ears hidden. When I think about it I've never been to the school cafeteria, like never. I went to grab some lunch and went up to the cashier to pay for it. "Are you new?" He questioned. "N-No..I've been here since last year...and middle school too" I answered. "Oh, well that's cool. Anyways I'm Evan. I hope you enjoy your lunch" he said and I walked off. Gosh, that guy was so talkative, makes him weirder being a deer hybrid.

I saw Maria talking to two other people, wait...didn't I see them at the Halloween dance almost a month ago?!

I walked over there and sat down awkwardly next to Maria. "So..what alien changed your mind" teased Maria. "My brain" I then ate my sandwich and got evil looks from...Jordan.

"Why the hell is he here?" Questioned Jordan. "Jordan come on, doesn't mean you both hate each other doesn't mean you can rub it in his face," said Katelyn. "Fine..but he still is one" Jordan ate the rest of his sandwich and put his tray aside. "What's with you two?" Maria was clueless. "History..that I really don't wanna talk about," I said and continued eating.

I kept working in the lab, not like I wanted to work at this school, but I'm doing it for revenge sorta and work experience so I could work at the college instead of this hell. "It's been what? Eight, nine years or something?" Has it really been that long? "I can't believe it either Naoki," I said. "Why aren't humans allowed in this school anyway?"

My eyes went wide but I shook it off. "It's because it's a hybrid based school. We learn more than the average school system plus rumors say humans would be scared. I mean there's Snake, Bull, Lion, cat, leopard, and every animal besides sea creatures here. Who wouldn't be scared?" I said. "Was Vi ever scared being the only human in the school?" Naoki was too curious for his own good, but I can't answer them all since...I work with the evil squirrel.

"She actually wasn't scared at all. She told me when she wasn't able to graduate that she just came here to learn since she was always so interested in it, not to graduate or get a degree. Until some dumb psycho killed her. It's supposed to be a side effect, you can't just force it other whys it kills the person...that's what it did to her" I noticed tears started falling down my face on to my paperwork. The bell rang and Naoki grabbed his stuff. "Thanks for telling me Zen," said Naoki. "No problem, I'll see you tomorrow," I said as I wiped the tears off my face.
