Ben: Here's some money. Go and buy a pair of pantyhose.
Carl: Yeh, right. Hah- hah- hah!
Ben and and Mark looked at Carl.
Carl: What?.. Why do we need pantyhose?
Mark: We have to disguise, you, dumb ass.
Carl: How would it help? Huh? Do you think, if we show up at the bank wearing pantyhose, everyone would think we're females?
Ben: We'll pull them on our heads so that noone could recognize our faces.
Mark: Damn it, Carl, you're so stupid!
Carl: Don't call me stupid. I see, you two are up to something.
Mark: Yeah, dumb fuck, we're up to rob a bank! And we don't want our faces showing up on security cameras. That's why you have to go and buy two sets of pantyhoses.
Carl: Why only two then? Ha? There's three of us. You want to set me up! I see you're lieing! I'm not dumb.
Ben: One pantyhose goes for two legs. A pair of them means four legs. It means four people. Four people, Carl.
Carl: Four? There's three of us. Who's the other guy? Nobody told me, there'll be one more guy.
Mark: Fuck!..
Ben covered his face with his palm.
Mark: There's only THREE of us!
Carl: Then where the fourth leg goes!?
Mark: To your fucking wife! She can wear it on holydays! You, fucking idiot!
Carl: Don't you dare to talk shit about my wife!
Carl grabbed a gun he was holding tucked under his belt and pointed it at Mark.
Ben: Whoa... whoa... whoa... Guys, guys, take it easy.
Mark strethed his hands toward Carl, showing his open palms. He slowly sat down, back into his chair. A long silent pause stretched for few moments.
Ben: Carl, would you, please, put your gun down...
Carl's expression changed. He wasn't looking that stupid anymore.
Ben: Carl...
A wide smear stretched upon Carl's face.
Carl: Officer Michaels, City "N" Police Department... You have right to remain...
As he was speaking, with his free hand he pulled the badge out from his jeans pocket and tossed it onto the table. Immediately, Ben jumped out from the table and rushed toward the door. On the opening, he only saw officer Michaels' partner pointing a gun at him. He stopped and lifted his arms up.
No banks were rubbed that day in City "N".
