Her necklace... she wore it everyday even in he shower because her parents told her to. It was a habit by now. But wait... "How did this letter get here?", she thought. She had found the letter in her study when she had returned home from her date. Then she had the stupid idea to call out to see if anybody was with her inside her home. "Is anybody here", she called out. To her surprise she heard footsteps coming from the hall and suddenly the door slowly creaked open. She was relieved when she saw her parents hiding behind the door. "Oh, it's just you guys", she muttered but then went on ranting about how they could've told her about their arrival. She had totally forgotten about the letter until they mentioned it during dinner. " So... about the letter", they started," we're so sorry we didn't tell you earlier but we had forgotten about the letter and oh god we're sorry but you're adopted.. sorta." At this point Gryka was crying her heart out. She felt so betrayed that during her 21 years she had lived a life full of lies. They started to explain how they had found her that day. That snowy winter day when they discovered her in a basket on the porch in the morning. They went on and on until Gryka asked one single question. "D-do you know who my real parents are?" " I- I mean the ones who gave birth to m-me?"...
