“ what did you just say?” asked King Maxwell

“ Your majesty, we checked everywhere but we cannot find his majesty, the queen nor did we see the kidnappers “ the head guard reported.

“ you are the chief security and you are telling me some people just walked into the palace and abducted my queen and you could not even catch one of them, nor did you even see them” said King Maxwell.

“ Magic seems to be involved, the dead guard said something like that, and it seems they pass the secret passage, there were signs of people been there recently“ the head guard said. The head guard was the only person outside the Royal family who knew the secret passage.

“ you all are totally useless, even with all this many guards, none of you could stop them, damn those magic users, we need to find my queen, ready my horse” the king said.

“ Your majesty, I don’t think it is a good idea to go and find the Queen now” The chief adviser to the king, sir Guy said.

“ are you telling me to abandoned my queen” the king said angrily. How dare him tell me not to find my queen, Rowland must be all scared now, I brought him into this kind of life, No, Rowland is strong, he thought.

“ No, that is not what I mean-“ he was trying to say when King Maxwell interrupted him

“ so what did you mean?” King Maxwell asked.

“ let gather more information, first” the chief adviser said.

“ I know it must be Fox kingdom, why should I stay here and wait?”

“ we need to send to our informant in the fox kingdom to investigate, we can’t just enter fox kingdom like that, we need to have information “ the chief adviser said.

“ and how long would this take” King Maxwell asked. For he did not want to wait around and allow any bad thing to come to his love, his queen, Rowland.

“ we would send the message now and wait for reply by tomorrow “ the chief adviser said.

King Maxwell thought that it was a reasonable plan. He was willing to give it a chance.

“ fine, but if there is no information, then we will go to fox kingdom and investigate and find him by ourselves “ said king Maxwell.

“ Yes, your Majesty” the chief adviser said, he bowed and took his leave.

“ any news” he asked the head guard who has just returned to the king office.

“ there is still no sign of them passing through any of the street.

“ I see” king Maxwell said.

The guard wondered why King Maxwell suddenly became calm, he was expecting king Maxwell to be angry at him.

" just be alert so that in case you see any thing, you let me know immediately " King Maxwell says to the head guard.  He has decided to exercise patient just as the chief adviser has told him.
