The doctor was right when he said the place was special, it was amazing. This must have been where Lewis got the idea for heart castle; this place was so much more though. It was in a simple house, but when you walked in it was a beautiful living organism. Inside were floating hearts and the colors were all shades of pink and red. It made sense, typical heart colors. But that wasn't the end of the magnificence in the place. It was the huge thrown in the middle of the place, shaped as a heart too with a gown in it. Belle walked up and recorded everything with her journal. "It's beautiful; who's was it." The doctor walked up and stood next to the thrown while Belle continued to write. "The queen of hearts; she had a battle with her siblings, the queen of diamonds, the king of spades and the king of clubs. It was truly a nasty battle. The Queen of hearts died of course, that's why the thrown is empty." Belle wrote everything he said down and her eyes got big with wonder, she wanted to know more but someone opened the door. The doctor stood up straight, looked the stranger over and then smiled while greeting him. "Blake! Is that you man!" The stranger stood still like he had been caught and then got a good look at the doctor. "Doctor! Thank god it's you! Scared me man, didn't anyone ever tell you not to sneak up on a cat?" It took a minute for Belle to register it but yes, he had said cat. He looked like a normal human though. At least she thought so, a pretty good looking one at that. "Belle; this is Blake, commonly known as the Cheshire cat. Very big around these parts." The doctor nodded towards Blake who had all of sudden made his way right in front of Belle. She jumped back a bit but then he took her hand and kissed it. "Nice to meet ya milady. Where did ya get this one? See you've changed to the other side of the playing field my friend. And she's lovely, so I don't mind." Belle blushed and then she caught onto what the cat had hinted. "You and Lewis had a thing?!" She looked around at the doctor who was bright red. "Did not! This freak thought we did, kept hitting on me the whole time we were here." Belle looked back at Blake who was gone again. When he spoke he was behind her next to the doctor. "Don't act like you weren't interested doctor, no one can say no to me. With that disappeared again but Belle had caught it. He faded, almost invisible, but he was still where he was, you could hear him move. Belle looked at the doctor, she knew he had already known of this, but it still amazed her none the less. "Blake, there's something going on, what is it?" Blake showed himself again when he made it over to the thrown and held up the dress as if he was going to wear it. "There's another war my friend, and it doesn't look good. It's till the last king stands now. The queen of diamonds is dead. It's brutal out there, and the white rabbit has grown fierce, something isn't right though. The King of Spades, he isn't well, he isn't himself. There are rumors that he has been possessed. I've seen it myself; these rumors may very well be true. Can you help us doctor?" The doctor looked at Blake and then at Belle. She was waiting for this, to be one of the companions that gets to help the doctor save people. A world, or galaxy or even just a person. She was so ready, but not ready for the words that came out of his mouth next.
"No."
