"My name is Scarlette." The female pirate, Scarlette, says with an elegant smile and a tip of her hat. "But you can call me Captain."
Captain... Scarlette? Somehow that name sounds familiar. But why? I'm pulled away from my thoughts as Captain Scarlette steps forward and softly takes my hand in hers and plants a soft kiss on the back of my hand. Her hands are rough and for a moment I feel my heart skip a beat. With a gasp I yank my hand away and quickly step back, startled by her gesture.
"Oh my," Captain Scarlette chuckles, "you are cute. But alas, I'm afraid the reason for why you are here is because of what you have."
"What I have?" I have nothing on my person, she should know this.
"Yes. Well, to be precise, what's in your head." She says pointing to her head. "You see, I know that you know that there's a place in the world filled with a treasure more valuable than life itself." Using a sweet voice Captain Scarlette waltzes her way over to me and playfully walks in a circle around me.
A place more valuable than life...!? My eyes widen as I realize what she's talking about. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" I protest.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk." She snickers. Quite amused Captain Scarlette widely smiles. "Your reaction just now gave it away. You know exactly what I'm talking about, dear Princess."
Feeling my heart pound for a completely different reason, I gulp as I break out in a cold sweat. Father always said I show my emotions easily. But... The treasure she's talking about was only a bed time story my mother told me when I was but a child. There's no way it's real!
