After class, it was time for recess. Before I went to the cafeteria, I went to my locker to grab my wallet. I turned the combination to remove the lock and I tried opening it...

That's weird, it won't open. I pulled the handle harder till the locker door opened snd slammed into someone's face. "Oh my god, I am so sorry". I looked who I hit, and it was Jax. "Ugh, it's okay my nose is fine" he removed his hand from his nose and it was bleeding.

"Shit, your nose is bleeding. We need to get you in the infirmary" I gave him a towel to stop the bleeding from his nose. I put his arms around my neck and carried him. "It's just a nosebleed, not a broken knee" he said, "Do you want to go by yourself" "No" "Then you can thank me later".

We got to the infirmary and he was told to sat down to a chair till the bleeding stops. They gave him a tissue and he stopped using my towel. “Here you go” he handed out the towel filled with his blood that came from his nostrils. “Um, just clean it and give it back to me tomorrow” “Sure” he said.

Since it’s my fault, I had to stay with him till his nose stopped bleeding. Which took about 10 minutes.

The bell rang which indicates that recess was over. “I’m sorry dude” he said, “No it’s okay, It was my fault. I mean, it’s still the same food that they serve us right. Don’t worry I’ll treat you tomorrow”. “Um, actually no” he said “What”, “I was actually going to walk up on you to say that we’re having a new catering service”. “What were they serving us today” I asked, “I’m pretty sure that you’ll hate me if I say it” “No I won’t, so what did I miss”. “Apple Pie with orange juice on the side”.

I felt disappointed that I didn’t get to buy an apple pie since it’s one of my favourites. But I needed to suck it up and man out “It’s okay, I’ll still give you a free meal tomorrow” “Sorry dude, I hope I can make it up” “Nah, I’m fine. It’s just food anyway. I’ll just eat later lunch” I smiled to lighten the mood.
