This year April the 1st landed on a Sunday.

And I landed on something else.

But more on that later. Back to the day, Sunday, so I was in no danger of getting egged – so to speak – or otherwise pranked. So I was free from any other kind of harm that comes with this day. In fact, the whole day was quite quiet. And I enjoyed every minute of it. After finishing my presentation which I had to do for one of my language class I called it quits. Watched a movie and went to sleep. At 10 PM. I know exciting. But you just wait.

I clicked on my latest playlist „bam”, which I used to fall asleep for that week. I created one every one or two weeks. I know besides the point. So I laid down on my bed, got under the covers, closed my eyes. All tha jazz. And in about 20 or so minutes I felt myself falling to sleep.

Literally.

I don’t even know how to best describe it. It was like… there you are in the darkness. And you know that feeling right? Everyone does. When it’s like you are falling and jerk upright or just suddenly move a little. Now that was what happened although more dramatically. Because you know that you are laying horizontally. Then as if the whole world turned on its axis I felt like I was suddenly falling. And no trashing or frantically moving around got me out of that. It felt like it will end with a crash landing but at the same time, it was weirdly serene.

Oh yeah and all that head first. Imagine that.

I don’t know whether I screamed or not. It’s a little fuzzy even up until this day.

I fell, was scared out of my goddamn mind. And I landed.

On top of a solid figure.

Then I heard the screaming. Oh, that one I do remember.
