You decided to seach around the room once more before venturing out into darken hall.

You opened few drawers and looked under the bed.

You took the lantern and flicked the switch a few times before the small bulb flicker to life, the light was bright enough to make it possible to see in darkness.

There was nothing left to search in room so you finally went into the hall, it seems to be empty and that was make you feel uneasy. The emptiness reminded you of your own mind. Void of lost memories.

You shake that feeling off quickly before it gets to you even more. You choose your footing carefully as you walked down the darken hall, the hall is dusty, wrecked up and covered in spider webs.

Few overturned gurneys and chairs on sides of the hall, there was soft ominous pulsing coming from ahead, you felt terrified as your mind started to wonder of what could emit that pulsing. You decided to stop because your head started to hurt, your attention turned towards one of the open doors. Door was a jar, so you could easily peek in.

You decided it was a good idea to peek before going in, so that's what you did and you were glad you did. In corner there was a small figure hunched over, noise that it was making almost seemed like sloppy chewing. That noise made your hair stand on end, but what happened next was bone chilling, the figure lifted itself up from what it was doing and went out of sight, it was chewing on human child's head, it's neck twisted unnatural and skull cracked open like small nut, you put hand over your mouth to stop yourself from vomiting or making a noise. This made you sick and scared, you carefully stepped back from the door, but you accidentally move a piece of chair with your heel, which made you freeze once you hear that it alerted the figure, you quickly looked around for hiding spot in panic.

Before you could choose, the door swung open, the figure, now that you actually see it, it is a animal-like body with with human head, but no face, the space is completely blank, yet there is small slit under the chin. It listens and you hold your breath, sweat trickles down side of your head and watch the creature retreat to it's room and shut the door behind it.

You release your breath slowly and shiver, it was close to you, but you weren't noticed. You looked around once more, there is not much to see in the hall beside the lit end where large door was, you felt the pulsing again and it made you feel a bit nauseous.

You moved now carefully around broken things, making sure you wouldn't alert the creature to your whereabouts. You saw something shiny from corner of your eye, you picked it up.

You observed the key, it was a bit rusty, but over all in good shape, you decided to keep it for future uses. You looked ahead once more and wonder.
