"When will we arrive...?"

"Have patience, Adair. We will reach the exam shrine in a few minutes."

"What is the exam like?"

"You have different objects to choose, sometimes they are weapons, sometimes paintings, others colors. It can be anything that helps to determinate your personality and future race."

"Personality? And you are a Guide?" I chuckled.

"Don't push my buttons." The white-haired elf growled. "I'm a Guide because of my race, not my personality."

"So... Elves are Guides?"

"Mostly."

"What other races exist?"

"Elves, Elemental Spirits, Demons, Half-Gods, Angels, Demonic or Angelic Shapeshifters, the Shadows, Werewolves, Goblins, Vampires, annoying Trolls, Ghosts, Banshees, the Minotaur Tribe, Nymphs, Gnomes, Giants, Fairies and some other species but I'm not-so-thrilled to tell you all of them."

"Whoa..." 

"The most powerful ones are the Shadows, followed by Half-Gods, Demonic or Angelic creatures and Elemental Spirits."

"These Shadows... What do they look like?"

"You will see it in the exam, there's representation from all the races. And they make sure that nobody cheats in the exam selection."

"But if it is choosing random objects, how do you cheat?"

"Some race members like to give signals to the newbies to get them in their group. But they are always caught by the Shadows and either killed or imprisoned." He explained smoothly. "Oh, look. We are here."
