I awkwardly sat in the front row, which was almost empty. When I touched the chair, my environament changed; I was inside a changing chamber. In front of me, was a mirror that was also a screen, several character customisation options to choose. 

"Hello, Adair. Welcome to the Initial Chamber. Here, you will be able to change your character's appearance from the basic skin." A feminine mechanical voice said. "You will be able to use it only one time for free and only at the end of the Transformation, after the exam. Good luck."

As I somehow returned to the same spot I was before, a man with a noticeable authority aura around him got on top of the shrine's centre.

"Welcome New Players. Today, your life has changed." He smiled. "You will be welcomed in our grand family until you win, or die."

I looked around me, all the people sitting around be in the first row were looking at the man with a mix of fear and nervousness. 

"Let's begin with... Artemisa." 

A girl, judging by her main skin, got up and walked towards the centre. While she walked, eight spheres of different colors appeared around the circle of the small 'stage'.

"Choose a ball, dear." The man told her.

The girl looked around curiously, but her eyes soon fixated themselves on the white sphere. She touched it, making a bright light come out of it.

After two more rounds, she got a small closed paper that she couldn't open yet and got down to the floor.

"Adair."

I walked up as the other newcomer had, in my case instead of color spheres, there were weapons and an empty slot. Seven weapons to choose; sword, dagger, bow, axe, war hammer, spear and war scythe. What caught more my interest was the scythe, it had a weird energy emanating from it, so I picked it up.
