The next day was school. I left Gerad in my room, in his Mason jar. Turns out, he really does like the Cauldron Cakes. His favourite band member is Axelexa, who I think is too loud and obnoxious, so we didn't speak much after that. I gave Circe and Riley a ride to school. I manned the broom from up front, with Circe bringing up the rear and ;) Riley sitting in the middle. So that was nice.
When we got to school, we parted ways. I headed of to my classes, they headed off to theirs.
The idea struck me during Demonology. The professor said (and I'm paraphrasing.)"Spells can be casted to confine a demon to one specific area. ". So the idea technically wasn't mine. But I could pretend it was.
I had to get Gerad out of the room before I could share my idea with the girls. They thought it was nuts. How were we going to find a new house for a demon? And expect it to just live there? My naivety was simply too much. Besides, the spells was bound to be really hard. Circe, always devil's advocate, was out of the room within seconds. Leaving me with Riley. Alone.
So we listened to music. No talking, just the melancholy sound of the Cauldron Cakes wafting around us. My friends would be so disappointed in me.
