Andrew opened the door to his house and tried to avoid being noticed, but his dad was right on the other side. "Andrew what were you thinking! You could have got killed out there! You even took my sword!" While his father was rampaging like Jake had his mom stepped in. "Wait." She noticed he was covering his eye. "Son, please don't tell me." She tried to move his hand but Andrew wouldn't budge. "Andrew move your hand." His father commanded with a sudden soften in his voice. "No. Please let me go to my room." To be honest, Andrew had no plan on how to escape this situation, but he was too stubborn and ashamed to show them what had happened. "No move your hand." The fathers' voice had grown more aggressive. Sure enough, Andrew finally pried his hand off.
"Oh god." That was the only mutter out of his father. His mother put her hand over her mouth and stood there for a second. The room was so quiet you could hear the birds chirping outside. Andrews' eye was jammed further in the socket, there was a giant slash in the middle where the pupil should have been, except, it was gone. Since the eye was dead it couldn't sense light causing a fade of color in the pupil to almost be unseeable. Basically, there was no hope for that eye. Jakes' little healing spell wouldn't fix that. The only hope of that eye seeing again would be at least a two V'd book. Which, we know are a little pricy.
"Son." his father started to speak again, "You're grounded for a month. That was extremely reckless of you." "But dad! I went to get vengeance for my classmates!" "Excuse me!, What if you died! Did you even consider us! If you die then what do you think will happen to your mom and I!, Andrew you are our only pride, if you died... go to your room now." "Yes sir" Andrew ran over to his room quickly avoiding that awkward place.
One thing Andrew hadn't considered yet was both Jake and Noah wanted to meet with him tomorrow morning. To make things even worse he was now grounded. So will he sneak out against his parents' will and go meet with someone. If so then who, he can only meet with one for his parents time frame of being out for Church isn't long enough to meet both parties. Hm... A hard choice needs to be made.
