"Where did that girl disappear to?" Tsarina shouted at the palace guards outside her sleeping chamber and turned to look at the other guard who was kneeling on the floor clutching his broken shoulder.
"She has injured his arm in attempt to escape from the chamber." The second guard spoke and Averinka turned to look at Vladimir who came marching down the hallway upon hearing the sudden commotion outside the Queen's chamber.
"Queen..."
"Find that creature immediately! She should not escape this Castle's walls and roam around draining other people."
"Yes, your Majesty." Vladimir bowed and turned to take his leave when Averinka ordered him again.
"Even if it means Killing that girl."
Vladimir's eyes widened in surprise before he composed himself and ordered the other royal guards around to find the slave girl in the palace.
Averinka herself walked through the hall, checking her study room and library before she came to stop at the lip of stairwell to the basement Chambers and looked outside the balcony at the tower on the other side of the palace. The black stoned tower stood eerily beautiful and haunted in the glow of moonlight, and Tsarina descended the stairs and left the East wing of the palace through the secret passage, which she had had it made for herself and moved through the moonlit garden of white roses and blue orchid flowers that looked ethereal under the silver glow of moon. Tsarina went the tower house and opened the door to the tower ascending the stairs to the upper chamber of the tower.
She noticed the broken lock of the metal door, and pushed the door open to find her curled up on the dusty floor under the window.
"Master?" The girl whimpered looking up at Averinka from her lying position and pushed herself to sit. The girl scooted back from the queen, and Averinka noticed the ghostly pale pallor of her face, specs of red dotted her brown irises that seemed to glow like fire under the moonlight, tendons and muscles of her neck strained ready to snap because of her blood thirst.
Averinka walked towards the whimpering girl, and knelt before Irina pushing her hair back from her face, and touched her cold cheek dusted with beads her perspiration because of of cold sweating.
"I-I didn't want to hurt anyone...I ran..." Irina nuzzled her face into warm palm of Tsarina, and opened her mouth to lick her palm and wrist.
"Master, can I?" Irina looked up at Averinka from her hooded eyes, and waited for the Tsarina to nod before sank her canines into Averinka's arm and started drinking from her. Averinka patted the girl's head, noticing a blush rose to her pale cheeks when Irina peered up at the Tsarina from her thick eyelashes. Irina pulled back and Averinka leaned forward to wipe the blood from her mouth with her thumb and patted her lap for the girl to rest her head.
"I ordered my guards and Vladimir to find you either alive or dead, so that you would not leave the palace's walls." Irina snuggled into the Queen's lap and murmured quietly, "I'll not leave my master."
Averinka sat on the floor against the frame of moth bitten bed, and ran her fingers through the vampire's hair who was sleeping in her lap. Tsarina heard the sound of running footsteps on the stairwell, and Vladimir barged inside the tower chamber but Averinka lifted a finger to her mouth and then pointed down at the sleeping girl. The man nodded in understanding and stood straight against the wall to guard his queen and the girl.

Ava returned from college next day and looked for leftovers in the refrigerator and heated the bowl of spaghetti in the oven, before grabbing her spaghetti and soda went upstairs to her room watching Netflix and eating her meal. Ava's cellphone vibrated and she swiped the screen to see Annabeth's text about going out for shopping together before party at Aaron's house which his parents were throwing at the night. Annabeth asked for Ava's address and Ava texted it right away, finishing her spaghetti and then went to clean herself in the shower and changed into fresh clothes .
Chris arrived at the address texted by Annabeth who asked him to pick Ava and meet her at the Black cream Cafe. Chris parked his car, and jogged towards the house before adjusted his leather blue jacket and rang the doorbell. The door was answered by David who stood confused staring at the man who looked at the elder male from head to toe before meeting his eyes.
"What do you need?" David asked crossing his arms that flexed his pectoral muscles underneath his white shirt.
"Umm...I'm Ava's friend and have come to pick her up."
"Come inside." David stepped back from the door inviting the boy in and walked towards the stairwell calling for Ava from her room.
"You have got a beautiful house." Chris spoke as he looked around the place and then back to David.
"Thanks."
"But house is not the only thing beautiful here."
"What kiddo?" David choked on his own phlegm.
"I don't mind the age difference between us." Chris moved closer towards David, and smiled down at the man. "I haven't quite caught your name yet. How may I address you, sir?" Chris smiled and leaned down towards David.
"Chris!" Ava shouted standing on stairs and ran to push Chris back from David and stood between them with her arm extended protectively before David.
"What the hell is wrong with you! He's my father's boyfriend."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought he's your brother."
Chris laughed uncomfortably and looked between Ava and David who was in standing in shock.
"When did I mention my brother as a 36 yrs old male?"
"I'm so sorry, Mr..."
"David." David spoke from behind Ava. Chris clasped his hands together and offered an apologetic smile to David which Ava could tell not apologetic at all.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. David but I must say your name is beautiful..." Chris stopped midway of completing his sentence when he saw Ava shooting daggers at him.
"I mean my uncle's name is David. Such a beautiful man he is and my favorite uncle." Chris flashed his grin and David looked completely mortified.
"Chris, I'll fucking kill you." Ava shouted and tugged at Chris' arm pulling him towards the door.
"Ava, wait!" David stopped Ava and pulled out his credit card from his wallet, handing it to the girl.
"Take it since you're going to shopping with your friends." Ava smiled taking the card from him and hugged the man.
"Thanks"
"No problem, and you!" David approached Chris and jabbed his chest with his fingers in a threatening manner. "If you do something to her or if anything happens to her at the party, you better know that I used to be a boxer. I'll fucking break your face bones for you, are we clear?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good and drop her home before 12." Chris nodded and walked Ava out to his car.
"Damn your Dad is a lucky bastard, who could have known David is a hot boxer."
"Shut the fuck up!"

Madame Lilian was appointed by the Tsarina herself, a lady of strict character and Averinka's childhood instructor to teach sense of decorum to Irina for her to live inside the palace but it turned out to be more difficult than it was originally thought, even by Madame Lilian herself, when the girl screamed being pushed inside the baths by the maids and stripped of her clothes, she clung naked onto the white muslin curtain of the bath sobbing for her master and it took Tsarina herself to get down Irina from the curtain.
Tsarina tried to calm down the girl, and asked her to get inside the bathtub, the girl complied but only on one condition that she'd bathe by herself, if not then only Tsarina herself could touch her and no one else.
In the end, the girl was given privacy to clean herself.
However, the ruckus didn't stop, since after the bath, maids tried to put fragrant oils on her body which only made Irina make run into the Tsarina's study chamber in her state of undress. Young Tsarina nearly blushed at the sight before her, Irina's long hair were dripping wet half covering her swell of her bosom, with white tulle bath-gown half open and became see through clinging to her ivory skin. Averinka stuck by horror, plucked her red robe from the chair and threw it at the girl to cover herself. Madame Lilian along with other maids barged in the study apologizing for causing trouble to the queen but had hard time convincing the girl to come back with them, who was hiding behind Averinka in her red cloak and shook her head clinging onto the queen white gown, and hid her face into Averinka's back.
'I don't like being touched'
She mumbled, blushing and Tsarina sighed looking up the coffered ceiling of her study room.
It was going to be lot harder than she had originally thought.

Chris dropped Ava to coffee house where Anna was waiting for Ava. Chris bid them goodbye since he had to help Aaron in preparation for the anniversary dinner his parents had thrown at their place. Annabeth and Ava first ordered their coffee, talking about their friends and family, and then left for the dress shopping. Annabeth drove them to her friend's boutique since according to get it sells best designs which are not even out in market and they could also advertise her clothing line. The girls walked inside the boutique, and Ava met with Leah, Annabeth's friend and designer, who led them inside the walk-in wardrobe and pulled out the racks of dresses from the wardrobe. Both girls picked up few dresses, checking them in the body length mirror and went to change into few, before deciding their dresses and paid for them on discount.
They thanked Leah for her dresses and left to buy matching heels to go with them, though in the end Ava ended up buying strap boots instead of high heels because the last thing she wanted was to trip over her heels, and fall flat on her face in front of the guests.

"I don't understand the need of it!"
Irina whined and Averinka sat on the chair bemused, watching the girl trying to balance on her high leather ballet boots with three books on her head. Her arms were outstretched on both sides and the girl stumbled on her feet as Madame Lilian who was also a dance instructor for the ballroom dances, added another book and Irina ended up throwing the books on the floor. Madame Lilian whipped at the girl's leg with her wand, enough to scare her and Irina immediately picked up the thick books and put them on her head. She started walking again on her ballet heels, but ended up twisting her ankle and fell on the top of Averinka who caught her by arms, both inches away from each other's faces which made Irina gasp and blush at the proximity. Irina peered up at the queen from her thick eyelashes and leaned forward, tilting her head and whispered.
'Master, my stomach is hungry.'
Averinka wanted to slap her own forehead.
